Love Scout, starring Han Ji-min and Lee Jun-hyuk, dropped episodes 7 and 8 on January 24 and 25 on SBS. The drama follows the story of Kang Ji-yun— depicted by Han Ji-min— the CEO of a headhunter firm, and her secretary Yu Eun-ho, played by Lee Jun-hyuk. Kang Ji-yun is meticulous at her work but clumsy when it comes to simple daily tasks. Yu Eun-ho helps her by filling the gaps using his life skills, making Kang Ji-yun’s work smoother.
Love Scout gets interesting as the two fall for each other, and the line between their professional and personal lives blurs. Love Scout episode 7 began with Kang Ji-yun and Yu Eun-ho attending a piano recital. As Kang Ji-yun reached home, Yu Eun-ho sent her a photo clicked by a kid while they went on a walk after the show. Kang Ji-yun responded to the message by saying that she had fun.

As Love Scout episode 7 progressed, Yu Eun-ho asked Kang Ji-yun if he had made any mistakes, as Seo Mi-ae cross-checked with him to learn if anything was going on between them. Seo Mi-ae informed Yu Eun-ho that Kang Ji-yun was looking for a replacement.
Kang Ji-yun confessed her true feelings for Yu Eun-ho, and told him she liked him. She further added that it was her problem and that she would take care of it by herself. She advised Yu Eun-ho to continue with his work as usual.
Love Scout ep 7-8 recap: Kang Ji-yun and Yu Eun-ho in workspace romance, as Woo Jeong-hoon and Jung So-hyeon become friends
In Love Scout episode 7, a new client, Jeong Han-ah (Go Won-hee), was looking for a job, as she went through workplace dating and breakups. Jeong Han-ah found it difficult to face her ex at work. This sparked a debate about workplace dating at Peoplez.
Meanwhile, Kang Ji-yun could not concentrate on her work as she was falling for Yu Eun-ho. One day, during a discussion, Yu Eun-ho was about to share his opinion on the topic, and Kang Ji-yun had to go for a meeting. She was unable to hear what he had to say.
Furthermore, during an important meeting with a client, she was once again distracted by Yu Eun-ho's presence. Later, Kang Ji-yun asked Seo Mi-ae (Lee Sang-hee) to replace his secretary, as she stated that he crosses lines sometimes.
But Kang Ji-yun soon realized that she was being unreasonable and told Seo Mi-ae to forget about it. She further confessed her feelings to Yu Eun-ho, and said that it was a problem she could deal with by herself. Things turn awkward between the two as Kang Ji-yun starts to avoid Yu Eun-ho and interacts less than she did before.
Later, Yu Eun-ho met his friend Lee Kang-suk (Lee Jae-woo), and told him that he found someone who he's always concerned about but reluctant to share his feelings, due to his circumstances. However, Lee Kang-suk advised him to be honest, as that person may be looking for his sincere feelings.
Kang Ji-yun visited the bookstore and met Yu Byeol, she learned that Yu Eun-ho was going to watch a movie with Jung So-hyeon (Kim Yoon-hye). However, Kang Ji-yun didn't try to stop him. On the other hand, Yu Eun-ho couldn't go to the movie because he was bothered by Kang Ji-yun.
The Love Scout episode 7 concluded with Kang Ji-yun and Yu Eun-ho sharing a kiss on the street, as they were able to be on the same page this time. In episode 8 of Love Scout, after being ditched by Yu Eun-ho, Jung So-hyeon went for drinks with Woo Jeong-hoon.
Previously, they bonded over having one-sided crushes, and Woo Jeong-hoon encouraged Jung So-hyeon to ask Yu Eun-ho to watch a movie. This time they opened up about losing their loved ones early in life, realizing they have many things in common.
On the other hand, Yu Eun-ho asked Yu Byeol how she would feel if he found someone he liked. Yu Byeol asked if he got a girlfriend and stated that she wanted to see her father smile more often and that she was fine with it. Yu Byeol later met Lee Kang-suk at the bookstore, telling him that she's got a hunch that Yu Eun-ho has got a girlfriend.
Yu Byeol said she found three pieces of evidence. Yu Byeol asked Lee Kang-suk to tell her about his girlfriend if he ever came to know. As the Love Scout episode 8 progressed, Lee Kang-suk and Seo Mi-ae had a conversation about Yu Eun-ho’s potential girlfriend, Kang Ji-yun. Seo Mi-ae brushed it off, as she was not ready to believe.
The next day Seo Mi-ae met Kang Ji-yun and asked about Yu Eun-ho. Seo Mi-ae was against it, as she had seen Kang Ji-yun suffer a lot in her life, and that Yu Eun-ho already has a child. However, Kang Ji-yun stood firm, saying she liked Yu Eun-ho for who he was, and also warned Seo Mi-ae to not say anything strange to him.
By the end of Love Scout episode 8, Kang Ji-yun and Yu Eun-ho attended a party held by Woo Yong-chul. Previously, Kang Ji-yun politely declined to offer help to Woo Yong-chul. He took help from Kang Ji-yun's rival, Kim Hye-jin of Careerway.
Notably, Woo Yong-chul aided Kang Ji-yun a lot when she began her business. Woo Yong-chul humiliated Kang Ji-yun at the party, and looked down on her as she refused to help.
As he continued to say unpleasant things to her, Yu Eun-ho intervened and stated that he had not checked Kang Ji-yun’s schedule, and added that she had to go to another meeting.
