TVING released Love in The Big City, starring Nam Yoon-su, Jin Ho-eun, and Kwon Hyuk on October 21, 2024. The K-drama is based on the acclaimed novel by Park Sang-young and is about a young gay man, Go Young, navigating the trials and tribulations of relationships and self-discovery in the fast-paced, dynamic urban landscape of Seoul.

Alongside Nam Yoon-su, actress Lee Soo-kyung brings depth and charm to the screen, playing Mi-ae, Go Young’s best friend and roommate. The K-drama touches on the themes of friendship, resilience, and emotional vulnerability. Set against Seoul’s striking backdrop, Love in The Big City spans ten years of Go Young's life, from a 21-year-old college student to a 31-year-old adult.

Love in The Big City focuses on Go Young's four relationships—all of which ended in a way that left viewers reeling from the overwhelming emotions. His first relationship with Kim Nam-gyu (Kwon Hyuk) ends abruptly after he dumps Nam-gyu. His whirlwind romance with No Young-su (Na Hyun-woo) ended abruptly pushing Go Young to the edge where he attempted to kill himself.

His third relationship was with Shim Gyu-ho (Jin Ho-eun) which lasted the longest (3 years), however, he pushed Gyu-ho away. Then comes, William Habibi (Kim Won-joong), with whom Go Young shared a few nights before realizing that William is married and a closeted gay man and that he will never move on from Gyu-ho.
