Love Your Enemy episode 5 recap: Seok Jiwon and gym trainee teacher Gong Mun-su get into a battle over household chores

Love Your Enemy's fifth episode begins with Seok Jiwon entering the school's residential accommodation along with gym trainer Gong Mun-su. It leads both Yun and Seok Jiwon into an argument as to why he would stay at the school's accommodation. Mun-su impresses Yun Jiwon and her grandfather with his cooking skills which kicks off a battle of chores between the two.

Cute moments enfold between the two Jiwons as they both go together to get groceries. While confused about buying which flavor of the snack, Seok tells her to go with the one she always goes with, showcasing how he remembers her likes and dislikes.

While Mun-su focuses on washing clothes, cooking, and cleaning, Seok does carpentry and repairing. When Yun talks about living with Seok and Mun-su at the school's accommodation to Cha Ji-hye and Su-a, Ji-hye gets irritated.

Yun's grandfather (Yun Jae-ho) believes that Seok has shifted to the school accommodation to keep an eye on him and is certain that he can change Seok's mind about a building golf course in this neighborhood. Yun Jae-ho is strongly against a golf course due to its negative impact on the ecology of the area. He also shares a self-written book with Seok about the same.

He calls for a meeting with the residents of the area. However, very few turn up as they have gone to Seok's father, Gyeong-tae's meeting. Yun Jae-ho turns up to their meeting and shares his disappointment with the residents. Gyeong-tae and Jae-ho get into a heated verbal fight wherein Jae-ho slaps Gyeong-tae twice.

Yun and Seok Jiwon enter the scene and try to calm the situation. Afterward, they both talk privately and Yun asks why is Seok trying to invade their lives and they both resolve to avoid each other at all costs.

When Ji-hye hears about this incident, she gets cheery and makes a plan to have drinks at Yun's place. She secretly snuck into Seok's room and sits on his bed. When they start drinking, she tries to get a confession from Mun-su whether he likes Yun or not. However, they both get blacked out after a drink.

Seok overhears their talks and how Mun-su likes Yun. As he makes his way to his bedroom, he finds an attic. In the attic, he discovers photos of him and Yun Jiwon when they were young. However, as he makes his way from the attic with the box full of photos, Yun panics and accidentally pulls down his trousers.

In that box, Ji-hye also notices that Yun still has her phone from 18 years ago on which Ji-hye deleted Seok's messages to Yun.

The next day, Seok makes his way to see the mountain that Jae-ho is trying to preserve and which his father may destroy with his plans of constructing a golf course. He realizes that he has caught a bit of cold.

At night, when he returns, Yun and her grandfather observe that Seok might have a bit of a fever. Jae-ho tells Yun to get him an electric blanket but Yun shrugs it off. However, afterward, she goes off on her own with an electric blanket and finds Seok trembling with temperature. She then tries to take care of him by putting a cold sponge on him.

As she is about to leave, Seok Jiwon holds her hand and tells her to not go. Love Your Enemy episode five ends with Seok Jiwon moving into kiss Yun Jiwon.
