The Disney+ reality show My Name is Gabriel allows celebrities to spend 72 hours living someone else's life in a different country. Celebrities adopt the name of someone and spend three days living their lives and jobs and getting accustomed to their friends and families. Defconn and DAVICHI members Kang Min-kyung and Lee Hae-ri are the show hosts.

The show participants are South Korean popular stars and entertainers, including Park Bo-gum, Ji Chang-wook, Yeom Hye-ran, Park Myung-soo, and Hong Jin-kyung. Episodes 2 and 3 were released on June 28 and July 5, 2024, respectively.

My Name is Gabriel shows Park Bo-gum and Park Myung-soo getting familiar with their new lives. Park Bogum lives as choir leader Ruaidhri Ó Dálaigh, aka Rory, of the Ramparts, in Dublin, Ireland. Meanwhile, Park Myung-soo spends 72 hours living as P'Vootti from Chiang Mai, Thailand—seller of Som Tam.

My Name is Gabriel episode 2 is a mix of heartwarming moments and hilarious encounters

Park Bo-gum spends three days in Dublin as Rory, leading the choir group of The Ramparts. Episode 2 of My Name is Gabriel opens with Bo-gum heading to an Irish pub with his choir members and having a good time. He gets emotional when the group has an impromptu acapella song at the pub as other customers listen intently to them singing Amazing Grace.

Later, Bo-gum gets ready the next morning to meet Rory's parents. As per the show's script, he has to pretend to be Rory himself; however, the nervous Bo-gum plans to leave an impression on Rory's parents. On his way to meet his parents, Bo-gum meets two college students on the train and invites them to The Ramparts' LIVE show on St. Patrick's Day.

After getting off the train, he stops at a florist to get a bouquet and write a letter to Rory's mother. He reaches their house and gets a warm welcome from Rory's parents, Margaret and Tony. Bo-gum spends a lovely afternoon cooking Irish soda bread with Margaret, looking around the house, watering the garden—like their own son.

In My Name is Gabriel, before leaving, he plays You Raise Me Up on the piano and gets emotional while singing along with Margaret and Tony. Margaret hands him a bag full of bread and snacks to share with group members. They hug a crying Bo-gum one last time as he leaves, waving to them as he walks away.

Bo-gum's day ends with meeting four choir members—Jebb, Ruaidhri (another member with the same name), David, and Brian. The four arrive at Rory's house to practice with Bo-gum ahead of their LIVE performance on St. Patrick's Day. They brought wine, ordered food from Burrito Blues, and had a good time jamming to songs. They practice Moondance and Falling Slowly with Bo-gum before leaving.

Meanwhile, in My Name is Gabriel episode 2, Park Myun-soo's life as P'Vootti from Chiang Mai begins after Park Bo-gum's segment. P'Vootti's wife, Jaem, wakes him up at 5:40 a.m. and asks him to go to the farmer's market to get groceries. She hands him a grocery list; however, it is written in Thai.

On his way to the market, Myun-soo hilariously gets lost. However, he reaches the market after struggling with the GPS and carelessly parks his bike. Myung-soo tries to navigate through the busy farmer's market and asks vendors to decipher the list since he can't understand the language. After spending a long time in the market, he successfully buys the items and goes to find his bike.

Meanwhile, he panics as he can't find his bike and calls Jaem (Vootti's wife) to come to the market. As Myung-soo waits for her to arrive, he goes to a vendor to get a cool shake due to the humid weather. Jaem reaches the market, and Myung-soo gets angry at her for sending him to the market alone.

Jaem politely reminds Myung-soo that he is living the life of her husband, Vootti, and this is his daily routine. Myung-soo immediately realizes his fault, apologizes several times to Jaem, and regrets losing his temper. Together, they look for the bike, and Jaem finds it parked at a nearby shop. Apparently, another vendor parks Vootti's bike there to avoid the police towing it away.

My Name is Gabriel episode 2 ends with Myung-soo, aka Vootti, reaching his home with Jaem and gearing up to start making Som Tam—a Thai cuisine made with papaya and peanuts—to sell throughout the day.

My Name is Gabriel episode 3 ends with Park Bo-gum and Park Myung-soo in tears

My Name is Gabriel episode 3 starts with Myung-soo (Vootti) frequently making mistakes while cooking. Vootti's assistant, Su, shows him how to chop veggies, but he continues missing, which makes her laugh. However, this started affecting the business since Vootti's family needed to make enough sales each day to make ends meet.

Myung-soo's frequent mistakes start to annoy Jaem and Su, but they stay polite and extremely helpful. Myung-soo prepares the Som Tam with Jaem's help and leaves with Su to sell it on Chiang Mai's Main Street. When they first open for business, Myung-soo jokingly tries to boost profits by using a little less peanuts in the Som Tam. However, a customer takes a serving of crushed peanuts, and Su assists her.

They start selling more as kids arrive at their shop, and Su tells Myung-soo that Vootti never charged kids despite their harsh financial situation. They give away the dish to the kids for free, and Myung-soo honors Vootti's long-standing traditions. Myung-soo's three days of living the life of Vootti end there, and Jaem thanks him for his efforts and kindness.

My Name is Gabriel episode 3 then shifts to Park Bo-gum living his last day in Dublin as Ruaidhri Ó Dálaigh, aka Rory. It's St. Patrick's Day, and he gets ready to perform on the streets LIVE with the choir group, The Ramparts. Bo-gum arrives at the rehearsal room, sets up chairs, and starts practicing alone before everyone arrives.

He surprises the group by showing them "The Ramparts," which makes everyone happy. They leave for busking and deliver a moving performance on the streets that touches the audience as they sing Moondance and Falling Slowly with impeccable harmony.

Later, the group takes Bo-gum to another pub to celebrate his successful performance with The Ramparts. As it was his last day, the group members presented him with the "The Ramparts" banner. Each member wrote a personal message on the banner, which makes Bo-gum emotional. They praise Bo-gum for his hard work and effort and tell him that he is a real Rory.

After Bo-gum goes back to his house (Rory's flat), he reads each message written on the banner. He sees that one member has written his message in Korean, which makes Bo-gum cry profoundly.

My Name is Gabriel episode 3 ends with a scene showing the lights turning on in Rory's apartment, depicting the return of the original Ruaidhri Ó Dálaigh to his daily life. The show wraps up by revealing the real identities of Rory and Vootti to the show hosts—Defconn, Kang Min-kyung, and Lee Hae-ri.

During the LIVE commentary of the episode in My Name is Gabriel, Park Bo-gum and Park Myung-soo watch the show with Defconn, Kang Min-kyung, and Lee Hae-ri.

Bo-gum is surprised after seeing the real Rory onscreen and reveals that he had met him twice during rehearsals and didn't know that it was the real Rory. Meanwhile, Myung-soo realizes that Vootti came to his shop as a customer.
