My Sweet Mobster Episode 13 & 14 Recap: Did Eun-Ha and Prosecutor Hyeon-u survive Go Yang-Hee's attack?

My Sweet Mobster aired episodes 13 and 14 on JTBC and Viki on July 24 and 25, 2024, respectively. Episode 13 shows Seo Ji-Hwan meeting Seo Tae-Pyeong, his father and a mafia boss. Meanwhile, Go Eun-Ha (Han Sun-Hwa) learns from prosecutor Jang Hyeon-u (Kwon Yul) that Seo Ji-Hwan is the childhood friend she has been searching for.

Go Eun-Ha and Seo Ji-Hwan become closer in episode 14 after Eun-Ha finds out who Ji-Hwan really is. My Sweet Mobster then shows Seo Tae-Pyeong assembling all the former bulldog gang members to upend Ji-Hwan's tranquil existence.

In the end of episode 14, Eun-ha gets attacked by Go Yang-Hee, and prosecutor Hyeon-u gets seriously injured trying to save her. Seo Ji-Hwan arrives moments after Go Yang-hee and his goons flee from the scene and sees a crying Eun-ha and an unconscious Hyeon-u drenched in blood.

My Sweet Mobster episodes 13 and 14 are power-packed with several plot twists and heartwarming moments

My Sweet Mobster's episode 13 picks off from the scene where Dong-Hee (Jae Chan) was attacked by a guy in the previous episode. Seo Ji-Hwan (Uhm Tae-Goo) learns that the mysterious man is the older brother to the girl who died in a vehicular accident due to Dong-Hee. Ji-Hwan takes the man aside and begs for forgiveness from him and his mother on behalf of Dong-Hee.

Later, Eun-Ha meets prosecutor Jang Hyeon-u to ask him the real identity of the boy she has been searching for years. Hyeon-u tells her that Ji-Hwan is the boy from her past. She is shocked to learn about Ji-Hwan's past and how he changed his name from Hyun-Woo to Ji-Hwan.

Meanwhile, Ji-Hwan goes to meet his father, who asks Ji-Hwan to leave his current life and return to the gang. Ji-Hwan sternly refuses his father and tells him that he will never go back to a life that has taken everything from him.

Episode 13 ends with Eun-Ha rushing to meet Ji-Hwan and telling him about how she waited for years to find him. She calls him by his birth name, "Hyun-Woo," which makes both of them extremely emotional. The episode wraps up with Ji-Hwan and Eun-Ha hugging each other.

Episode 14 of My Sweet Mobster opens with sweet moments shared between Ji-Hwan and Eun-Ha. Meanwhile, Ji-Hwan learns that Ku Mi-Ho has declined Joo Il-Young's marriage proposal. He decides to meet Mi-Ho's father and discuss her marriage with Il-Young as she is pregnant.

Meanwhile, Eun-Ha asks Ji-Hwan about his thoughts on getting married. Ji-Hwan tells her that he has never thought about the subject because his life has been difficult with zero respite. Eun-Ha gets disheartened on hearing his answer, as she wanted to hint at her wish of marrying him.

Later, Seo Ji-Hwan's father, Seo Tae-Pyeong, is seen assembling former bulldog gang members in My Sweet Mobster episode 14. He is hellbent on getting his son back to join his gang and give up on pretending to be the CEO of a meat factory.

Seo Tae-Pyeong leads his goons inside Ji-Hwan's office building and begins breaking things, inciting fear among his workers. Several of Ji-Hwan's employees are former convicts and goons who chose to leave behind their violent past to start afresh. Ji-Hwan's father urges them to join his gang and find their true calling as gangsters. Many workers submit their resignation letters to Seo Ji-Hwan as a result of this.

Episode 14 then shows Go Yang-Hee and his goons tailing Eun-Ha at night as she was on her way to her house. The goons attack her, and prosecutor Jang Hyeon-u rushes to her side to protect her. The goons hit him on the head with a brick, which causes him to pass out while heavily bleeding.

Go Yang-Hee flees with his men immediately, fearing getting arrested for injuring a government official. My Sweet Mobster episode 14 ends with Eun-Ha screaming and trying to keep Hyeon-u awake as a startled and worried Ji-Hwan stares at them.
