The sixth episode of the ENA network drama Namib was released on January 7, 2025. The ongoing show features Go Hyun-jung and Ryeoun in the leading roles, alongside an extensive supporting cast. The drama encompasses a total of 12 episodes, with a runtime of around 60 minutes each.

In the previous episode of Namib, Su-hyeon discovered that Jin-woo secretly recorded her video, due to which she was removed from her CEO position and fired from her job. However, Su-hyeon still showed her support for Jin-woo, who is an idol trainee. Meanwhile, in the latest episode of Namib, Jin-woo finally went to his training center.

On the other hand, in order to get back at Su-hyeon, Jang Hyun-cheol (played by Lee Seung-joon) forces the producer of the Star Rise show to lower Jin-woo's ratings and eliminate him from the competition.

Namib episode 6 recap: Jin-woo left his competition to save Sim Jin-woo

The sixth episode of Namib featured Kang Su-hyeon's family, Sim Jin-woo and Sim Jun-seok, who appeared to be happy together. Jang Hyun-cheol, on the other hand, was furious since his attempt to defame Su-hyeon failed after the original footage of the edited video was discovered.

In the next scene, Hyun-cheol is standing next to someone lying on a hospital bed. While standing there, looking at that man's body, he recalled his sister's death ten years prior. As depicted in the flashback, Hyun-cheol's sister, Yoon-hee, was a trainee at Pandora Entertainment.

One day, several investors arrived at Pandora and invited all the female trainees to join them for some fun. Then, Yoon-hee was drugged at the club, and when she tried to leave, the boys followed her to stop her. Outside the club, Hyun-cheol's assistant Chris, who was searching for Yoon-hee, noticed her and attempted to save her.

However, one of those boys struck her with his car, and Hyun-cheol lost his sister. The court even released the offender, the investor. For this incident, Hyun-cheol blamed Su-hyeon, who was the CEO of Pandora at the time, as she took no action against the culprits. The person lying on the hospital bed before the flashback scene was one of the culprits.

Meanwhile, Jun-seok and Su-hyeon prepped Jin-woo for training camp, after he passed the first level of the Star Rise competition in the previous episode of Namib. They sought to instill confidence in him so he would cease self-harming.

Su-hyeon dropped Jin-woo off at his training campus the next day, and she later received a call from the factory's owner about the outstanding amount. Su-hyeon was working hard to save enough money to buy a factory for her son, Sim Jin-woo, and secure his future.

In another instance, Bong-gyu approached Jun-seok at the cafe and asked whether he would sell Jin-woo, his trainee, for money. Jun-seok declined Bong-gyu's proposal and urged him to be cautious of Hyun-cheol.

Meanwhile, Hyun-cheol invited the producer of the Star Rise show, Park, to his office. He blackmailed Producer Park to boost the ratings of his trainee, Kyung Ha-na. Furthermore, to take revenge on Su-hyeon, he even ordered the producer to eliminate her student Jin-woo from the competition.

Kang Su-hyeon then went to the hospital to meet her mother, who was mentally ill. Su-hyeon’s mother had always wished to return to her husband's home, who had abandoned her years ago for another woman. However, Su-hyeon never let her mother go back to her father's house.

Meanwhile, Jin-woo was preparing for the competition's second duet project. On the other hand, Su-hyeon's son Sim Jin-woo’s classmates began to cause him problems, as Jin-woo was no longer in school to protect him.

Some boys in Sim Jin-woo's class stole money from the students he had paid to make his notes. When Sim Jin-woo realized this, he attempted to get the money from those boys but ended up fighting with them.

Meanwhile, Su-hyeon's mother left the hospital without informing anyone, just as Jin-woo's Star Rise broadcast was about to begin, and Su-hyeon and Jun-seok headed out into the streets to find her.

On the other side, one of the classmates noticed that Sim Jin-woo was being attacked by those boys. So, he recorded videos and sent them to Jin-woo, who was about to take part in the next round. But, as soon as he watched the footage of Sim Jin-woo being dragged away by those boys, he raced to save him. Jin-woo successfully saved Sim Jin-woo and the two headed to Su-yeon.

Meanwhile, Su-hyeon and Jun-seok found her mother. But, when they saw Jin-woo and Sim Jin-woo together, she yelled at them since Jin-woo had missed his competition. All four of them then rushed to the training facility.

At the end of Namib's sixth episode, Su-hyeon and Jun-seok discovered that Jin-woo's audition had gone viral, making him renowned on social media. Finally, Jin-woo left for his interview, and the program came to an end.

The next episode of Namib will air on January 13, 2025, via the ENA network. Fans can also stream its episodes on Viki.
