On October 22, 2024, the official account of World Music Awards (@WORLDMUSICAWARD) reported that BLACKPINK's Rosé earned the biggest streaming day on Spotify. Her latest solo single, APT. with Bruno Mars, became the first K-pop act on Global Spotify in 2024 to achieve this feat.
Additionally, APT. with Bruno Mars reached 42.80 million plays in only four days of its global release on October 18, 2024. Rosé surpassed BLACKPINK's Pink Venom to establish a new record for the most streaming and debut week for any K-pop female act on Spotify worldwide.
The song earned over 6.85 million streams since its release, placing it at No. 3 on Spotify's Global Chart. Bruno Mars made his biggest platform launch ever, surpassing his previous 2024 single with Lady Gaga, Die With A Smile, which received 4.58 million streams.
APT. with Bruno Mars achieved its biggest new entry in the Top 10 of Spotify's list as the only K-pop song. Rosé achieved the biggest debut by a female K-pop soloist on Spotify, setting a new record. She broke the record that BLACKPINK's Lisa's New Woman (Feat. Rosalía) had previously held. Fans celebrated Rosé latest achievement and flooded social media. A fan wrote on X:

BLACKPINK’s Rosé signs a solo deal with Atlantic Records and announces full-length album release
On September 27, 2024, Atlantic Records announced via its official social media accounts that they had signed BLACKPINK's Rosé for her solo records. This is a partnership deal between The Black Label (a YG Entertainment subsidiary) and Atlantic Records.
For the unversed, Rosé signed with The Black Label in June 2024 after terminating her solo contract with YG Entertainment in December 2023. Meanwhile, she announced that her forthcoming debut solo album with 12 tracks, Rosie, will be released on December 6, 2024, under the American label.
