BTS' Jungkook released his debut solo single, SEVEN (feat. Latto), on July 14, 2023. The song completed one year on July 14, 2024, and fans flooded social media with celebratory messages along with the hashtag #1YearWithSeven. The BTS' youngest member created history as the track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and charted for seven consecutive weeks.
After BTS' Jimin, he was the second K-pop and Korean soloist to top the chart and the first South Korean soloist to chart his song at No. 1 for seven straight weeks. Additionally, SEVEN also debuted atop the Billboard Global 200 and earned platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in November 2023 for selling 1 million CD units in the United States.
Furthermore, the song won the Global K-pop Song at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), the Song of the Summer category at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), and the Best Song Award and the Best K-Pop at the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).

Jungkook's SEVEN (feat. Latto) also topped the Billboard's Hits of the World charts in Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Taiwan. On July 15, 2023, the song entered at No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart and became the highest charting debut by a Korean solo act in the chart's history.
The song bested Miley Cyrus's Flowers to become the fastest song to surpass 1 billion Spotify streams, making Jungkook the fastest act to achieve this feat. The GOLDEN singer did this in 108 days, setting a new Guinness World Record.
He is also the only BTS member and K-pop soloist to have the most Guinness World Records to his name. They are as follows:

Jungkook became the only BTS member to top the Billboard Global 200 chart with SEVEN on July 29, 2023. He amassed the second-highest streaming week on Spotify for SEVEN. BTS' 2020 summer single, Butter, which received 289.2 million streams in its first week of release, continues to hold the top spot.
The song ranked as the tenth best-selling digital single of 2023 globally, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) in February 2024. The song surpassed 1.24 billion subscription stream equivalents globally in less than six months.
Additionally, the song's music video became his second hit to have surpassed 400 million views on YouTube.
