On October 7, 2024, BTS' j-hope took to the South Korean social media platform Weverse, sharing the picture of his military bag and captioning the update as "D-10." The post has increased the excitement among the fandom about his military discharge. J-hope's fellow bandmate Jin left a comment teasing him, saying,
"Wow, have you seen such a friend as cheeky as this."
In response, j-hope questioned whether he would go and meet a "cheeky" friend on the discharge date.
For those unversed, BTS' j-hope would be discharged from his mandatory military service on October 17, 2024, after concluding the eighteen months of service. Subsequently, the duo's Weverse conversation circulated on social media, and fans could not contain their excitement after witnessing their virtual interaction. An X user tweeted:

BTS ARMYs expressed their excitement as they could not wait to see the reunification of Jin and j-hope.
