On October 23, 2024, Newsen reported that BTS' Kim Seok-jin's Super Tuna and j-hope's On The Street (solo version) re-entered the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart. Jin's song re-entered at No. 1 while Jung Ho-seok, aka j-hope's single claimed the second position on the American music chart.

Additionally, Super Tuna re-entered at No. 87 on the Billboard Global (Excl. US) and No. 159 on the Billboard Global 200. Super Tuna is an extended version of the original 2021 song, which was released by the BTS idol on October 11, 2024. The original track was dropped on December 4, 2021, on the singer's 29th birthday, and had over 136 million streams on Spotify.

He added two more verses to the 1-minute song, re-released it recently, and deleted the previous track. Meanwhile, j-hope was discharged from the military on October 17, 2024. Fans streamed his March 2024 single, On The Street, from his second solo album, HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1. The original track was released on March 3, 2023, and featured American rapper J. Cole.

The BTS ARMY rejoiced and lauded the BTS members. A fan termed it "2SEOK world domination"—a nickname derived from the "Seok" in both Jin and j-hope's real names.

Some BTS fans joked about Super Tuna topping the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart since the BTS idol asked fans not to stream it as it is just a fish song. For the unversed, Super Tuna is about the singer wishing to catch a tuna fish or mackerel, which he recorded as a hilarious side quest.

"YES! World domination is coming in 2025!" a fan wrote.
"I'm sorry, Seokjin, but you're the one releasing banger after banger. Your fault, not ours." another fan wrote.
"No one tell Jin about this please it’ll give him an aneurysm but regardless congratulations Seokjin!" one other fan added.

Others lauded both the BTS idols for dominating the Billboard chart after their military discharge.

"It's just the start of 2seok domination," one fan said.
"Yeayy 2Seok is back and ready to conquer," another fan added.
"Absolutely deserved! So proud of you kings!" one other fan wrote.

BTS' Jin, j-hope, Jungook, and Jimin maintain dominance on the Billboard charts for weeks

The Super Tuna singer-songwriter was discharged from the military on June 12, 2024. The track was his first comeback solo single after The Astronaut, which was dropped on October 28, 2022, ahead of his enlistment. j-hope's second solo album, HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1, was released on March 29, 2024, via BIGHIT MUSIC while he was still in the military.

Meanwhile, Jimin has been performing well on the Billboard charts despite his ongoing military enlistment. His title track, WHO, from his second solo album, MUSE, charted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 32. The track has been charting in the Top 50 for 13 consecutive weeks. On the Billboard 200 chart, MUSE ranked at No. 97 and No. 2 on the Billboard World Albums chart.

BTS' Jungkook, who is also serving in the military alongside Jimin in the same battalion, has maintained a steady place in the Billboard charts as well. His debut solo single, SEVEN (feat. Latto), released on July 14, 2023, ranked at No. 41 on the Billboard Global (Excl. US) and no. 90 on the Billboard Global 200 chart. The song has been charting on the list for 66 consecutive weeks.

In other news, BTS' Jin is set to release his debut solo record, Happy. The album will be dropped on November 15, 2024, with the title track, Running Wild. The pre-released single, I'll Be There, from the set will be released on October 25.

Jimin and Jungkook enlisted together in the military on December 12, 2023. They will return in June 2025.
