On October 8, 2021, BANGTAN TV dropped the video of the band and Megan Thee Stallion's first meeting video. They hung out together in New York City, at a rooftop building, and formally introduced each other. They also talked about their Butter collaboration.
During the conversation, the American rapper expressed her desire to do another song with the group and even execute a music video with them. In the video, Stallion and the members posed for selfies together, and the former also brought her dog.
2) BTS and Megan Thee Stallion's performance at Los Angeles concert
On November 28, 2021, Megan Thee Stallion joined Bangtan Sonyeondan at their group's four-night Permission to Dance on stage, at the LA concert held at Sofi Stadium. The duo together delivered a performance of their Butter remix. She enchanted the crowd, donning a pink outfit, styled with puffy sleeves and long boots.
