In an interview with STARNEWS Korea on January 27, 2025, Byun Woo-seok revisited his memorable moments from the 'AAA 2024' award ceremony. The event was held at the Star News building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on January 22. Byun Woo-seok’s highlights from the award show were both heartwarming and entertaining.
During the 10th APAN Star Awards on December 28, 2024, Byun Woo-seok was seen introducing his Lovely Runner costar, Kim Hye-yoon, to the popular girl group NewJeans. In the interview he talked about this moment.
“On set, Hye-yoon always mentioned how much she liked New Jeans. She even danced to their songs at a fan meeting. But she was such a big fan, she didn’t know how to approach them. Since New Jeans was seated right behind us, I decided to introduce her instead,” he explained.

It was even more meaningful because I received this award because people liked the chemistry between me and (Kim) Hye-yoon. He also mentioned how nice it was to see Kim Hye-yoon after a long time. He felt good because her "bright energy" was still evident, making the reunion special.
Byun Woo-seok then discussed how the 'Sol-seon' couple, portrayed by him and Kim Hye-yoon, became a symbol of comfort for viewers. He explained,
"Don't people have their own perspectives on life? But the common reaction from people who watched our drama was that it was 'comforting.' I think the power of 'Seonuptwi' (job well done) was that the 'Sol-seon' couple's appearances resonated with people and gave warm strength to everyone."
He expressed deep trust and gratitude towards Hye-yoon for her collaboration. Woo-seok, mentioning her as "senior," acknowledged the support he received from her, saying he learned a lot from her.
"I learned a lot from 'senior' Hye-yoon. I'm so grateful that Hye-yoon played the role of Sol. It feels like I've gained a colleague who I can consult with and talk about difficult things with in the future, so I think I've gained something big, not just from the drama."
Byun Woo-seok then also expressed his desire to reunite with Kim Hye-yoon in another project. If the opportunity arises, he would love to collaborate with her again in a future production.

Meanwhile, Kim Hye-yoon is set to star in SBS's highly anticipated fantasy drama Human from Today, slated for release in the first half of 2025. The series follows the journey of a nine-tailed fox woman who, after a chance encounter with a famous soccer star, unexpectedly transforms into a human.
