On September 12, 2024, BLACKPINK's Lisa made history as she won the "Best K-pop" award at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) for her solo track Rockstar. Released on June 28, 2024, through Lloud and RCA Records, Rockstar marked Lisa's comeback.
