“A Synergy of Handsomeness" — CJENM seemingly hits back at HYBE’s alleged “ugly” remark on ZEROBASEONE in their controversial internal report

On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, CJENM took a jab at HYBE for allegedly hinting at ZEROBASEONE being ugly in their internal report. HYBE's controversial internal report has been the talk of the town since it was disclosed at the National Assembly Audit by Democratic Party of Korea representative, Min Hyun-bae.

CJENM posted on the Mnet Plus app about the rookie K-pop group, A Synergy of Handsomeness: Moments of ZEROBASEONE’s Visual Blessings. It was in stark contrast to HYBE's comment from the internal report where it mentioned that a K-pop group has a "synergy of ugliness that is hard to stand."

Furthermore, HYBE reportedly wrote that the K-pop group appeared on Amazing Saturday and on the KStarNextDoor4 talk show. Since ZEROBASEONE just appeared on both shows, speculations rose that HYBE may have referred to them.

The statement read:

"As a whole group, they’re scheduled to appear on Amazing Saturday. They have two episodes on K Star Next Door, one of which has already been released. When the members are grouped together, they create this synergy of ugliness that is hard to stand…"

However, the name of the K-pop group was redacted from the source report when it was revealed during the National Assembly Audit hearing livestream.
