On December 6, 2024, X (formerly known as Twitter), implemented an emoji hashtag or hashflag for BLACKPINK's Rosé to reportedly celebrate the release of her album Rosie, leaving fans delighted. A customized emoji will appear when a social media user uses the hashtag #rosiebyRosé.

For those unversed, the female artist released her much-anticipated debut studio album, Rosie, on December 6, 2024, through Atlantic Records and The Black Label. It featured twelve tracks, including Number One Girl, 3 AM, Two Years, Toxic Till The End, Drinks or Coffee, Gameboy, Stay A Little Longer, Not The Same Call It The End, Too Bad For Us, and Dance All Night.

Subsequently, the latest activity related to BLACKPINK's Rosé on X circulated on social media and went viral among the fandom. They could not contain their excitement, and an X user tweeted:

The fandom urged netizens to hype BLACKPINK's Rosé's forthcoming album and added that they should use the hashflags as much as possible.

On December 6, 2024, Rosé's latest debut studio album, Rosie, surpassed 100,000 streams on South Korea's domestic chart, MelOn, despite being a midnight release in the country. It also recorded 53,000 streams during the first hours on MelOn. She was also trending at the No.1 spot on MelOn real-time search following the unveiling of the album.

Meanwhile, APT. (feat. Bruno Mars) emerged as the fastest foreign track by a female soloist to cross 60 million streams on Oricon, surpassing Nayeon's record, which was previously held by POP! It is to be noted that Rosie had recharted on the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart and ranked at the No.2 position.
