On September 16, 2024, British songwriter and record producer David Stewart shared his wish to work with BTS' Jungkook again. Stewart's comments came in response to a fan post shared by the X account, @Daily_JKUpdate, which posted what David Stewart said about the BTS' maknae (youngest member) in the latter's I AM STILL program book.

David Stewart praised Jungkook for being good at everything he does and said:

"He’s got a great feel. Feel is not something you can teach; it’s something either you have or you don’t have it. If an artist is great at one thing, often they are not quite good at another thing. But with Jungkook, he’s great at one thing and he’s also great at another thing as well, so it’s quite nice."

The post went viral online after the British songwriter and record producer retweeted it on X and wrote:

"Love JK. What a gentleman"

Notably, David Stewart produced and co-wrote three songs for the BTS singer's debut solo album GOLDEN: Too Sad to Dance, Shot Glass of Tears, and 3D (feat. Jack Harlow).

Fans were thrilled when Stewart seemingly confirmed, in response to a fan's question, that he would be working with the BTS idol in the future. One fan praised Jungkook on X, saying:

"ace of kpop for a reason"

Others were thrilled to know that more work from the artists is stored for a future release. Fans lauded the BTS singer's global popularity.

"This is such a touching reflection on Jungkook’s journey. From being introverted to becoming a global superstar, his growth is truly inspiring. Watching him put so much effort and thought into his work is why we love and support him so much!" one fan wrote.
"GREAT AT EVERYTHING AND IN EVERY WAY; THE ONE AND ONLY GOLDEN JEON #JUNGKOOK 정국!" another fan wrote.
"David Stewart confirmed that’s he will work with Jungkook in the future, this is the kind of great news we deserves after the rough days we all had , we are here to support Jungkook all the way and always can’t wait for this I’m really excited," one other fan added.

Fans started speculating if Jungkook had already worked on his second solo album before his military enlistment.

"David Stewart, producer of 3D, has confirmed that we will see more projects with him and Jungkook. WHAT DO YALL THINK?? GOLDEN DELUXE OR JJK2???" one fan commented.
"This is giving me 2 theories. David Stewart produced and wrote for BTS before, including Dynamite and 3D 1. Either Golden Deluxe with extra tracks is actually coming 2. or BTS already chose some songs for their comeback album, and David already knows one is from him," another fan said.
"I don't know what to expect but I just know it's a banger once again. Be it a single or an Album, we are ready. Super excited for this. Can't wait actually," one other fan remarked.

David Stewart pens BTS' first Billboard Hot 100 English single Dynamite

For the unversed, BTS' first all-English single, Dynamite, was co-written by David Stewart and Jessica Agombar. Stewart also produced the song, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020. The track earned BTS a GRAMMY nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. They were the first and only Korean act to earn a nomination.

Additionally, Dynamite reached No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. It stayed at No. 1 for three consecutive weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.

The song touches on the themes of finding happiness and gratitude for the small things in life that are precious and was written with the intention of providing solace to the listeners during the COVID-19 epidemic. Amidst the COVID-19 lockdown across the world, the song earned praise from music critics for its upbeat tune.

In other news, Jungkook has been serving in the military and will return in June 2025 to resume group activities.
