On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, the entertainment news channel BuzzFeed Celeb posted an exclusive interview with BLACKPINK member Rosé. Titled ROSÉ: The Puppy Interview, it was released via the channel’s official YouTube account. In the interview, the K-pop idol talked about her latest single, APT., which was made in collaboration with Bruno Mars.
Further, when she was asked about future acting plans, Rosé replied,
“Yeah, maybe, I would love to try that out, I have always been interested, I don’t know if I’ll be good at it. I think it would be fun if it is like a cool role.”

On October 18, Rosé dropped her pre-release track, APT., which is a part of her forthcoming solo album Rosie. The hit song, which was composed in collaboration with Bruno Mars, achieved a new feat by surpassing 100 million views on YouTube on October 23.
According to the World Music Awards, Rosé’s latest single scored the fastest K-pop MV, and collab of 2024, to reach 100 million views on YouTube within five days of its debut. As of this writing, the music video of APT. has crossed over 123 million views. The song's title was inspired by the BLACKPINK member's favorite Korean drinking game, "Apa-teu."
The debut solo album of BLACKPINK's Rosé, titled Rosie, is slated for release on December 6, 2024, and will consist of around twelve tracks.
