ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin's alleged Shaman advisor is said to have disappeared after closing her business. On July 26, South Korean media outlet TV Daily claimed that the Shaman known as Ms. Lee or Jiyeongnim0814 reportedly has closed her business.
Previously, in April 2024, Min Hee-jin was accused of receiving business advice from a shaman. She is once again facing criticism from netizens as alleged screenshots of her messages with the shaman were leaked by Dispatch recently.
Min Hee-jin reportedly made decisions regarding the selection of NewJeans members upon consultation with the Shaman. In April, HYBE accused her of breach of trust as she had allegedly leaked confidential information regarding HYBE LABELS and ADOR operations to a third party.
The same month, Min Hee-jin held a press conference addressing the accusations made by HYBE against her and the management of ADOR. During the press conference, she stated that the shaman is just a “close acquaintance.”
According to the media research, after Ms. Lee reportedly shut her business down, another shaman who identified himself as H was working there under another name instead.
ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin's Shaman acquaintance is reportedly nowhere to be found
On July 23, Dispatched published alleged screenshots of Min Hee-jin's Kakao Talk messages with Shaman Ms. Lee and others. Following this, TV Daily visited M temple located in H Villa in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, in Seoul in the afternoon of July 26.
This was the place where Ms. Lee worked; however, she was reportedly not reachable on her registered phone number and was nowhere to be seen at the temple. According to the report, the reporters were greeted by another Shaman named H.
Reportedly, there were no signs displayed on the outer area of the temple regarding a business. Notably, on the inside, it allegedly looked like a usual fortune-telling place. Upon inquiring regarding his relationship with Min Hee-jin, Shaman H denied knowing her or Ms. Lee.
H stated,
“No relationship, and I am not the shaman being mentioned. I have been running the O temple since January of this year. I do not know who the previous tenant was.”
Dispatch's report about Min Hee-jin and Shaman's alleged plan to steal trainees from SOURCE MUSIC
On July 23, Dispatch published a detailed report obtaining alleged information from HYBE LABELS regarding Min Hee-jin's contribution to creating the first girl group of the corporation while also taking advice from a Shaman.
The formation of the ADOR CEO’s group allegedly took place within SOURCE MUSIC with the help of Seo Seong-jin. However, Min Hee-jin was accused of stealing the trainees who were referred to as Team N back in 2021.
In the first half of 2021, Min Hee-jin allegedly spent approximately 40 million KRW ($28,800) in consultation with the shaman to form the final line-up of NewJeans.
The shaman also reportedly suggested she take the trainees and debut them under her own label. In September 2021, this group of trainees known as Team N was transferred to ADOR, the HYBE LABEL subsidiary.
Earlier this week, Min Hee-jin made a statement to YTN Entertainment denying all the accusations made against her, while also stating the information given by Dispatch was false. She also stated that she plans to take legal action.
