On December 2, 2024, Dispatch exposed several incriminating chat screenshots of Min Hee-jin with NewJeans members' parents. As per the screenshots, the former ADOR CEO seemingly knew about the girl group's unauthorized YouTube livestream which was held on September 11, 2024.

Although Min Hee-jin had previously denied being aware of the livestream, the Dispatch report stated otherwise. In the report, one of Min Hee-jin's alleged texts to one of the parents of NewJeans' members was as follows:

“[Member redacted]’s Dad, no, at seven. We pushed it back a little on purpose, because Bunnies released something amazing. HYBE got caught cursing me out, and even their s*xual harassment was revealed. Thank God. He’s setting up the stage for the girls to do well.”

Furthermore, Dispatch revealed that Min Hee-jin and NewJeans' Hyein's uncle allegedly met DAVOLINK's CEO to invest in the girl group after it left HYBE. Hyein's uncle reportedly asked for a 5 billion KRW ($3.5 million) investment from DAVOLINK and the company's CEO confirmed Dispatch about being approached by Min Hee-jin and Hyein's uncle. The company also confirmed having a meeting with them for three hours.

Moreover, parts of her chat screenshot revealed Min Hee-jin allegedly using unconventional and immoral ways to take over the group members from Source Music. Since all five group members were trainees from Source Music, she handpicked Danielle, Hanni, Minji, Hyein, and Haeirn to create NewJeans and take them to ADOR, when Min Hee-jin was the CEO.

Min Hee-jin files a lawsuit against Dispatch reporters for alleged defamation against her and NewJeans

According to a November 2 Dispatch report, Min Hee-jin, the former CEO of ADOR, allegedly used NewJeans' Hanni as a tool to appear at the National Assembly Audit on October 15, 2024, to pit against HYBE. Dispatch revealed a picture of Hanni leaving the former ADOR CEO's studio at midnight, a day before the audit.

Hanni was seen holding a brown envelope, seemingly containing the National Assembly Audit witness hearing summons.

Daily Sports reported Min Hee-jin's representatives responded to the Dispatch article by announcing that they had lodged a complaint against the reporters, alleging that they had violated the Act on Promotion.

"Dispatch’s Kim ○○ and Park □□, as reporters, were fully aware of the above intentions, but continued to report false facts in order to defame former CEO Min Hee-jin, damaging her reputation."

They continued:

"Today, Kim ○○ and Park □□ have written an article that is completely different from the truth, and without verifying any facts, they wrote an article with false content by adding their own speculation to one-sided claims."

NewJeans terminated their group contract with HYBE and ADOR on November 29, 2024, after their demand to reinstate Min Hee-jin as the label's CEO was not accepted. Before this, Min Hee-jin also resigned from HYBE and as ADOR's inside director on November 20. In August, she was fired by ADOR as the label's CEO.
