BLACKPINK's Lisa made history as she became the most nominated K-pop soloist in the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards history. On October 8, 2024, MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) announced its nominees where Lisa bagged four nods. These include Biggest Fans, MTV EMA Best Video, MTV EMA Best K-pop, and Best Collaboration.
For MTV EMA Best Video and Best Collaboration categories, she's nominated for her comeback solo single, NEW WOMAN (feat. Rosalía). The track was released on August 15, 2024. Meanwhile, her fans rejoiced as the idol became the first K-pop soloist and the only Asian female soloist to earn the most nods at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
After winning the Best K-pop category for the second time at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on September 12, her fans were enthusiastic about her winning the EMAs. One fan wrote,
"Lisa is always making history as a kpop soloist."
Her fans flooded X and boasted with pride over the BLACKPINK rapper's achievements.
"Lisa, as a soloist, is the 'Epitome of Success' in Kpop History!" a fan wrote.
"OH LISA, THE QUEEN THAT YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY INSANE," another fan wrote.

Others hailed her as a "global superstar" and hoped that she would be able to win at least three of the four categories.

BLACKPINK's Lisa's winning streak continues after she embarked on a journey as a soloist
After terminating her solo contract with YG Entertainment in December 2023, she established her company, LLOUD, on February 7, 2024. She also announced her acting debut in the upcoming HBO Originals series, The White Lotus season 3. It is scheduled to be released in 2025.
In May 2024, she signed an exclusive partnership deal with RCA Records. As part of the deal, she gets to keep exclusive and full rights to all her artistic content including her songs and albums. On June 28, she released her comeback solo single, ROCKSTAR, becoming the first K-pop video by a K-pop soloist to earn the most YouTube views within 24 hours of its release.
On August 15, she released her second single, NEW WOMAN (feat. Rosalía), amassing over 24 million views within the first 24 hours of release. It surpassed the views received by the MV of Charli XCX and Billie Eilish's Guess.
In July 2024, she became the global ambassador for Louis Vuitton. The ROCKSTAR rapper also attended the Paris Fashion Week on October 1 and was spotted mingling with Zendaya, Cate Blanchett, and Ana De Armas.
