On December 28, 2024, BLACKPINK's Rosé and Bruno Mars' APT. emerged as the fastest K-pop music video to gain 700 million views (70 days) on YouTube, leaving the fandom proud. The duo broke the record previously achieved by Psy's Gangnam Style (118 days).

For those unaware, the female artist dropped her collaborative track APT. on October 18, 2024, through Atlantic Records and The Black Label. It was one of the leading titles of Rosé's full-length debut studio album, rosie. The record, which featured thirteen songs, was unveiled on December 6, 2024.

Subsequently, the female artist's latest milestone circulated on social media and went viral among the fandom. Fans could not contain their excitement, and an X user tweeted:

The track debuted at the No.4 position on the United Kingdom's Official Singles chart. It subsequently spent four weeks on the survey. The song is also atop the Official Singles Downloads chart, followed by its ranking on No.3 position on the Official Singles Sales chart.

Meanwhile, the track also showed its worldwide influence on the Billboard charts. It debuted at the No.8 position on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent eight weeks on the survey. It continued to dominate the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. for the next eight weeks.
