“And they created the VIDEO OF THE YEAR”- Fans swoon over Stray Kids’ Hyunjin and 2PM’s Junho’s ‘Chk Chk Boom’ dance challenge behind-the-scenes

On July 31, 2024, Stray kids’ official YouTube channel uploaded a video, SKZ-TALKER which consisted of the behind-the-scenes video of Hyunjin and Lee Junho’s dance challenge. The two danced to the group Stray Kids’ new song, Chk Chk Boom. The challenge was originally released on July 26.

The video showed sweet and serious interactions between the stars, delighting fans. Hyunjin taught Junho the dance, respectfully calling him "Hyungnim." Fans affectionately dubbed Hyunjin as a "teacher" and were thrilled by his praise for Junho's efforts and features.

“No, I am not over this,” a fan expressed.

“SKZ x 2PM crumbs,” a fan referred to the collision of two K-pop artists.

“Only a handful of idols can dance to skzs choreos and 2pm are a part of that handful,” a fan praised both the idols.

Some other fans added more creative comments,

“Hyunjin collecting 2pm members like Pokémons,” a fan said.

“This is the nth that I’m watching this! How I miss Idol Junho,” a junho fan said.

“They are so cute together,” one of the fans expressed.

Hyunjin and Junho's camaraderie shines through in their recent dance challenge

SKZ TALKER is a web series that provides fans with an intimate look at the daily lives and behind-the-scenes moments of Stray Kids. Its most recent episode, episode 66th was released on July 31. Though it consisted of several other moments, the behind-the-scenes interactions of 2 PM idol and popular actor Lee Junho and member Hyunjin’s moments caught the fans’ eyes.

On July 26 apparently, Junho was invited as the guest to attempt the Chk Chk Boom challenge alongside the Stray Kids' group member. Naturally, they headed to practice first before shooting for the challenge.

During the entire sequence, Hyunjin kept praising Junho for his efforts like,

“Can you believe it? junho hyungnim is working so hard on our song. i feel so touched”

In return Junho praised the skz idol too after seeing his dance moves.

“Ohh you’re very good.”

There was another adoring moment between the two that tickled the fans. During the climax of the video, Hyunjin was supposed to put his arms over Junho’s shoulder. However, the younger idol got all shy and couldn’t comfortably place his arm upon the older idol’s shoulder.

Fans laughed it out even more because it was the Stray Kids’ member’s idea to do this gesture in the first place. Over this moment, both the stars shared a good laugh.

Hyunjin also referred to Junho’s arms being long. Fans also remarked how the Maniac singer has been collecting the 2PM members, one by one for his dance challenges. Apart from Junho, members Jun.K and Wooyoung have appeared alongside him.

Throughout the video, Junho kept hitting his junior idol in a fun and silly way which the fans found adorable. Many fans were even glad to see Junho back in his dancing era, since it’s been long since he has done an idol stint.

This dance challenge of a sunbae-hoobae became a praiseworthy fun session for the fans to watch and adore.
