BLACKPINK rapper Lisa is allegedly connected to Hedi Slimane's departure from CELINE. On October 10, 2024, a French media outlet Challenges reported alleged conditions that led Hedi Slimane to part ways with the luxury brand CELINE. Hedi Slimane was CELINE’s artistic director since 2018 and left the luxury house earlier this month.

According to the report, Hedi Slimane was preparing for a CELINE beauty launch with Lisa as his muse in 2023. However, the MONEY singer was allegedly considered by LVMH for another brand, Guerlain’s promotion. This hinted at a failure to secure the BLACKPINK member as the spokesperson for CELINE’s beauty collection launch. This was cited as one of the reasons why he did not stay with the French brand.

In June 2024, Korea JoongAng Daily claimed that a source from CELINE confirmed that Lisa had stepped down from her position as the brand's global ambassador. And in July 2024, she was officially announced as the House ambassador of Louis Vuitton. As the news started circulating online, BLACKPINK fans voiced their thoughts on Lisa's influence and her partnership with Hedi Slimane.
