On Saturday, October 19, BTS' Namjoon took to Instagram to upload a picture of him performing with his military band. The idol also added BTS' Spring Day as the song to the story. Other videos of the event that landed on the internet showcased the idol rolling out a solo performance of BTS' Spring Day with his military band, and fans couldn't help but tear up.

Spring Day is a song that's both emotional and extremely meaningful for both the BTS members and ARMYs. It talks about the love, loss, and yearning for the past and also sings about the hope for a reunion. As such, it is often referred to when the members or fans miss each other and are counting down the days to meet.

Given that Namjoon is currently serving his mandatory military enlistment and won't be able to meet fans until his discharge in June 2025, fans believe that the song was dedicated to ARMYs.

All you need to know about BTS' Namjoon's solo activities and military enlistment

BTS' Namjoon, the rapper of the K-pop boy group, has been active as a soloist for quite a while now. He's released a couple of mixtapes like RM in 2015, Mono in 2018, etc., while also rolling out solo songs through BTS albums like Intro: Persona, Trivia: Love, and more.

However, he officially embarked on his solo career with the release of his first solo album, Indigo, in December 2022. While the idol enlisted in the military in December 2023, he rolled out his second solo album, Right Place Wrong Person, which he created prior to his enlistment.

The album was released in May 2024 and was much praised by netizens, fans, and other industry personalities.

On the other hand, Namjoon stands as a Corporal in the South Korean military's Special Task Force of the Capital Defence Command. He enlisted on December 11 alongside his fellow group member, V. The two took their basic military training and graduated as elite trainees of their batch.
