BTS' Jungkook set a record of 20.2 million real-time viewers on his recent Weverse livestream
On December 18, Jeon Jungkook surprised his fans when he unexpectedly hosted a live stream via the Korean social networking platform Weverse. Jungkook's followers were ecstatic to witness their idol's live streaming, as evidenced by the singer's broadcast setting new records for the biggest number of real-time viewers on Weverse.
As per Korea JoongAng Daily, BTS' Jungkook became the 'Most Viewed Individual Live in Real-Time on Weverse' within less than three hours of live streaming, with over 20.2 million viewers.
Following this, on December 21, BTS' Jungkook again appeared online with a Korean choreographer, Bada Lee. The BTS member and Bada Lee were dancing to Don Toliver’s track BANDIT in the video posted by the latter on her Instagram account. Bada Lee’s video soon went viral as it garnered over 20 million views and 1.6 million likes in just 15 hours.
As of this writing, Jeon Jungkook is serving his mandatory term in the military. He began his training in December 2023 and is projected to be completed sometime in June 2025.
