On December 7, 2024, multiple videos from South Korea's National Assembly circulated on social media, showcasing netizens playing BTS' track Fire to compel President Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment. The latest clips from the national event left the K-pop community shocked and elated for varied reasons.
The septet released their electro house and dubstep track on May 2, 2016, through Big Hit Music. It was the song for the band's first compilation album, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever. It was penned by Bang Si-hyuk, Jung Ho-seok, Kang Hyo-won, Min Yoong-gi, and others.
Subsequently, the videos from the National Assembly where netizens took the support of BTS' song went viral on social media. The fandom expressed their pride in the group.

The fandom mentioned the current situation in South Korea and wished for the betterment of the people. Many also added that Fire playing during the crisis was iconic, and fans loved how locals knew the track's line from word to word.

"I love how bts' music is used during protest, their songs are very fitting for liberation," a fan shared.

Many fans also added that the band was the pride of South Korea and everyone should treat BTS with respect.
"Look how everyone is singing…BTSyou will always be the standard,"- a user commented.
"South Korean citizens are the real mvps tbh. I've never seen a people more united to fight against a corrupt government like this. Following the whole SK martial law saga made me realise Nigerians still have a long way to go," a user mentioned.
