Fans of K-pop giants BTS and SEVENTEEN are excited as recent interactions between the two groups have sparked joy among their respective fandoms, ARMY and Carats. Both groups' members have been seen acknowledging each other, delighting fans across social media.

BTS's Jin mentioned the 13-member band on his variety show, and Jungkook was spotted mimicking SEVENTEEN's Super choreography in clips from his I Am Still documentary. Meanwhile, Hoshi recently complimented Jungkook's vocal skills, humorously comparing his adlibs to artificial intelligence.

Fans expressed their excitement online, sharing their hopes for future collaborations between the two K-pop powerhouses. A user on X wrote,

"Another day, another crumb! Armycarats just living our best lives right now!!"

Fans expressed excitement on X, commenting on how ArmyCarats received BTS and SEVENTEEN interactions.

"Armycarats getting hate continuously for asking btsvt interactions and then there’s Jin JK Hoshi giving crumbs in one day. We are so well fed today armycarats," a fan commented on X.
"i love being reassured continuously by my favs i’m always in the right," an X user wrote.
"We're so spoiled ArmyCarats. We'll always win," another person remarked.

Another user mentioned that it's the perfect time for a collaboration:

"Why do I feel like SVT already shot with Seokjin? There's also a comeback around the corner, perfect time for them to go on variety shows."

Some fans also took to X to remind others that any perceived rivalry between the groups is confined to the fanbases alone. They emphasized that the idols have always maintained a friendly and supportive relationship, encouraging a positive perspective on interactions between the two groups.

"They're literally besties, some ppl need to get over their delusions and understand that they are literally attacking ppl that their favs care abt. Get tf over yourself," a fan wrote.
"When you have so much love to give, it comes back tenfold. Love you," another user mentioned.
"I think my fave thing about Jin mentioning SVT fondly in the most random times is that he’s repeated many times he doesn’t have a lot of celeb friends, so it makes me feels *uwaaaa* that he’s expecting them or wants to see them. He must be really comfortable with them," a fan wrote.

More about the recent mentions by the members of BTS and SEVENTEEN

The first recent interaction between BTS and SEVENTEEN came from the Dynamite group's eldest member, Jin, through his new variety show, RUN JIN. In episode 3, released on August 27, 2024, Jin humorously speculated about SEVENTEEN being the surprise guests in the episode. When he had to serve food to unexpected guests, who turned out to be children, he joked,

"Don’t tell me SEVENTEEN's coming because they have a lot of members... Oh well, they’re busy, how could they come,"

More recently, in episode 9, which aired on October 8, 2024, he again guessed the 13-member group as the possible guest when the staff teased about inviting a group. However, the guests were university students joining him for farming.

In another crossover moment, BIGHIT MUSIC released a new clip as part of BTS member Jungkook’s documentary, I AM STILL. After fans who attended the documentary's theatre screenings received a QR code, the label shared an unseen clip. In the video, Jungkook was seen at an event, seamlessly breaking into SEVENTEEN’s iconic Super choreography while posing for pictures, much to the delight of fans.

This lighthearted nod to the other group was appreciated by fans, given Jungkook’s close friendship with SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu.

Additionally, SEVENTEEN's Hoshi recently appeared on the variety show Synchro You, where he praised Jungkook’s vocals, particularly in the song Seven. He joked that Jungkook’s ad-libs in the song were so perfect that they almost seemed AI-generated. Hoshi playfully declared, "I LOVE YOU BTS," while making finger hearts.

While all BTS members, except Jin, are completing their military service, SEVENTEEN is preparing to follow suit, starting with Jeonghan.
