Yoo Jung Hoo, Chuu, Arin from Oh My Girl and ASTRO's Sanha have been confirmed as the casts of the upcoming drama My Girlfriend is a Tough Man, which is based on the well-liked webtoon series of the same name, as reported by Naver on August 2.
Earlier, Chuu, Arin, and Sanha were in discussions about being the main cast members in the upcoming K-Drama. My Girlfriend is a Tough Man revolves around a girl who turns into a man overnight. The drama will be directed by Yoo Kwan-Mo and the writer is Lee Hae-Na. The release date for My Girlfriend is a Tough Man is yet to be announced.

The protagonist of My Girlfriend is a Tough Man is a girl named Kim Ji-eun, played by Arin, who one day experiences a mysterious phenomenon that causes her to change into a gorgeous guy. When Yoon-jae accepts Ji-eun's invitation to a café, he discovers that she has transformed into a man. Yoon-jae calls Ji-eun on her phone, confused, but the man who is Ji-eun's front desk replies.

Yoon-jae eventually changes his mind about Ji-eun, despite his initial skepticism. Ji-eun has no idea how she changed into a guy either. One morning as she opened her eyes and glanced in the mirror, she saw a dashing man looking back at her.
As the two try to understand how Ji-eun changed, they encounter a lot of miscommunications and mishaps. But even with his newfound manliness, Ji-eun is still the endearing guy Yoon-jae fell in love with, which is why their relationship suffers such tribulations.
The male version of Kim Ji-eun will be portrayed by Yoo Jung-hoo. Park Yoon-jae also piques the interest of Chuu's character, Kang Mi-joo, a prominent student at the university. Fans are excited to see the actors bring their flavour into the upcoming drama, My Girlfriend is a Tough Man.
