BABYMONSTER releases MV teaser for their upcoming digital single, 'Forever'

On June 25, 2024, BABYMONSTER unveiled the latest music video teaser for their upcoming digital single Forever via their social media handles. The 17-second clip featured the seven members of the group, Pharita, Ruka, Asa, Ahyeon, Rora, Chiquita, and Rora grooving to the unreleased music, raising the anticipation for their comeback.

The seven-member K-pop girl group unveiled the title poster for Forever on July 18, 2024, as they announced the release date of the upcoming record. It showcased a pair of silver heels, accompanied by a sealed envelope with the group's name engraved on it.

BABYMONSTER's Forever will be featured in the group's first full-length album

BABYMONSTER's teaser video for Forever kick-started with two men carrying multiple boxes in a luxurious hotel. The boxes had the group's name engraved over them. The next scene showcased a solo shot featuring Chiquita giving the camera an intense look. Subsequently, a door with room number 401 appeared with a poster that read, "BABYMONSTER MEMBERS ONLY."

Through the peephole of the door, the seven members of the group were seen enjoying themselves. The teaser transitioned to showcase the members in bathrobes, with some of them sitting on the bed and floor. The short clip then concluded with a glimpse of silver heels and an envelope/ invitation.

The background music echoed the group's name, and this was accompanied by upbeat instrumental music.

Soon, the teaser video for the group's digital single Forever went viral on social media, and fans could not stop gushing over it. They believed that the teaser radiated a completely different vibe and concept as compared to the group's previous releases. The fandom expressed their excitement for the upcoming release as they gushed over the clip online.

It is important to note that Forever will be unveiled as the pre-release single of BABYMONSTER's upcoming full-length album, which is scheduled for release in October 2024. YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun-suk shared a special announcement through the agency's official page on May 20, 2024.

Hyun-suk revealed that BABYMONSTER was preparing for a full-length album, which will be preceded by the release of their digital single, Forever.

"We will definitely release a full album in either September or October. First, we plan to pre-release one of the songs included in the album. Sometime early July. We are planning the MV and broadcasting activities for the next song," he stated.

BABYMONSTER, also known as Baemon, was formed by YG Entertainment through the survival program Last Evaluation in 2023. The group made their official debut on April 1, 2024, with the release of their extended play (EP) BabyMons7er.

The seven members were revealed to fans for the first time through the subsequent releases of live performance videos starting on January 12, 2023. Later, a pre-debut promotional single Dream was exclusively dropped via YouTube on May 14, 2024.

As the group debuted, a pop-up store was organized at Hyundai Seoul to celebrate their official entry into the K-pop industry. The event welcomed 2,000 visitors within two days.
