On June 18, 2024, BABYMONSTER officially announced through their social media handle Instagram, @babymonster_ygofficial, that the female band would be releasing their new digital single Forever on July 1, 2024, at 12 AM KST. The rookie K-pop girl group has also dropped a title poster for the upcoming track.

Previously, the group teased the fandom with their July comeback date on June 17, 2024. They released a special invitation and the first teaser for their upcoming digital single, which did not feature its title.
The name of the track was Forever, which was revealed through a title poster on July 18, 2024, and would be incorporated into the band's first full-length album.
BABYMONSTER would reportedly release their full-length album in October 2024
The title poster for BABYMONSTER's digital single Forever featured a pair of silver heels, a sealed envelope with the group's name on it, and the release date of the upcoming track.
It would be introduced as a pre-release single for the band's upcoming full-length album in July, as informed by Yang Hyun-suk through a special announcement video shared on YG Entertainment's official YouTube channel on May 20, 2024.
Through the special announcement video, the founder, Yang Hyun-suk, announced that BABYMONSTER has been preparing to release a full-length album in October 2024. He also informed that the group would make their much-awaited comeback with the pre-release single from their upcoming full-length album in the first week of July 2024.
"We will definitely release a full album in either September or October. First, we plan to pre-release one of the songs included in the album. Sometime early July. We are planning the M/V and broadcasting activities for the next song," he stated.
As soon as the group announced the release of their digital single, Forever, the fandom went wild. They started weaving different theories regarding the concept for the group's upcoming project and expressed their desire to listen to the track as soon as possible. The fandom started trending phrases, including 'BABYMONSTER IS COMING,' 'FOREVER IS COMING,' and others.
The South Korean girl group was formed by YG Entertainment through the survival program Last Evaluation. It consists of seven members, including Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Ruka, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita, and debuted with the extended play BabyMons7er on April 1, 2024, through YG Entertainment.
The BabyMons7er features seven tracks, including Monsters (Intro), Sheesh, Like That, Stuck in the Middle (7 version), Batter Up (7 version), Dream, and Stuck in the Middle (remix). It was certified platinum by South Korea's KMCA for selling 250,000 units.
The seven-member K-pop group is currently on their first fan meeting tour, 'BABYMONSTER Presents: See You There,' which commenced on May 11, 2024. They recently greeted their Singapore fans on June 15 at the Star Theater.
