"Bang Chan is just a member of SKZ"- Fans angered as a netizen complains about ticketing issues in a recent fan call with Stray Kids leader

On Monday, August 12, a recent fan call between a netizen and Stray Kids' Bang Chan landed on the internet. The conversation revealed that the netizen was complaining about the ticketing issues they've been facing on the Yes24 platform as an international fan.

The person continued to express that, as an international fan, it makes booking tickets for Stray Kids concerts harder on Yes24 as there are no international payment methods available on the platform. When the idol listened to the fans' concerns, he empathized with them. However, he also mentioned that he was not in a position to fix or manage their problems.

The idol stated:

“Maybe, I mean look, but I can’t fix all of your problems."

When this fan call conversation landed on the internet, fans weren't best pleased. While fans did understand that the ticketing issues were a significant problem, they weren't happy with the issue being raised towards Bang Chan.

Many stated that the idol isn't in a position to manage and fix issues that run in the background of Stray Kids' schedules as he is just a K-pop idol and a member of the K-pop boy group:

"op is very dumb. he is just an idol !! what can he do ??? he's not a manager, worker at yes24, not jyp staff... these ppl are soooooo annoying. he's just a guy and I need him to keep telling ppl to chill" - stated another X user

More fans expressed their anger towards the netizen in the fan call and defended Bang Chan's answer.

"He is a singer in a company not the ticketing organisation staff?? And telling him you're jealous is so wrong for many reasons. They've said it themselves they will try to see as many stays as they can." - said another fan on X

"And when i said most stays see Chan as a div1 staff and not skz member y'all were mad at me" - added another fan on X

"Those calls are meant for them to connect with their fans and have a good time it’s supposed to be a happy space for them" - stated an X user

"We can hope that we get to see each other" - Bang Chan's response to the fan

The aforementioned fan stated:

I am actually suffering because (inaudible) I can’t see you guys in Seoul. They actually closed the international payment and we can’t pick our seats, we can’t make payments. We’re all very desperate. We can’t see you there. I am actually sometimes I am very (inaudible) of K-Stays who can see you often, and the jealousy is killing me."

To this, the idol replied:

"Feeling jealous is a natural instinct but it still doesn't make anything better. We can hope that we get to see each other and I will be waiting for that moment."

The idol also added that Stray Kids are trying their best to meet as many STAYs. However, he ended his response by stating that he can't fix all fans' problems. When the fan call landed on the internet, other STAYs and netizens were satisfied with Bang Chan's answer and were glad that he stood up for himself.
