Former member of B1A4, actor Jung Jin-young will feature in the drama adaptation of the popular movie Miss Granny, as reported by Xports. He will co-star in the lead role with veteran actors Kim Hae-sook and Jung Ji-so.
According to the report, Young will play a former member of the band Ignis, Daniel Han. In addition to being a gifted producer and songwriter, he was the group's leader. His life is abruptly rocked when he encounters Oh Doo-ri, a character played by Jung Ji-so.
Park Yong-soon, known for directing dramas such as Secret Mother, Wanted, and Divorce Lawyer in Love, is directing the drama adaptation of Miss Granny. Writer Heo Seung-min, known for Risky Romance and There is a Bluebird, collaborated with Park Yong-soon on this project.
Originally released as a film in 2014, Miss Granny was a huge success with over eight million viewers. The drama adaptation has completed filming and will be released to viewers soon.
