On July 31, BigHit Music announced the release date of BTS Jimin's Be Mine (English Version) through the South Korean social media platform, Weverse. The agency shared that the idol would drop his new version of the track on August 2, 2024, at 1 pm Korean Standard Time (KST).
Be Mine is a song from the idol's second solo mini album Muse, which was released on July 19, 2024, through BigHit Music. The album featured WHO as the title track and six other songs, including Rebirth (Intro), Interlude: Showtime, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), Slow Dance, Be Mine, and Closer Than This.
The record was created by multiple renowned producers, including Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, EVAN, Tommy Brown, Mr.Franks, Arcades, Pete Nappi, Tenroc, Ayo The Producer, and Kofo.

According to the press release shared by the agency through Weverse, it was due to ARMY's support and encouragement that Be Mine will have an English Version. The label described Be Mine (English Version) as an Afrobeat track, meant for the summer of 2024. They also requested continued love and support from the fandom.
BigHit Music wrote in their press release:
"Thanks to our ARMY support, Be Mine, a track from Jimin’s second solo album, MUSE, released on July 19, will be available in a new version. Be Mine (English Version) is an enthralling Afrobeat track that will add passion and excitement to your summer. We look forward to your continued love and support for Jimin and MUSE."
After the announcement, the track's name started trending at the No. 1 position worldwide on the social media platform, X. The fandom showcased their excitement and started trending the terms, including Muse Party, Wanna Give Jimin The World, Be Mine is Coming, and others.
Meanwhile, Jimin's title track, WHO, exceeded 130 million streams on the audio streaming platform, Spotify. The song emerged as the fastest solo song by a Korean soloist in history. It achieved another milestone by becoming the fastest track released by a K-act in 2024 and debuting at the No.14 position on Billboard Hot 100 as of July 30.
The song also secured the first spot on the renowned charts, including Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. 200 on July 29, 2024. He re-entered the No. 2 position on Artist 100 with his latest record, Muse, emerging as the first and only Korean soloist to top the charts.
In recent news, BTS Jimin would be featured in the upcoming travel variety show Are You Sure?! alongside group member Jungkook. The eight-episode program is slated to premiere on August 8 on Disney+ and run till September 19, 2024.
