BTS’ Jimin is gearing up for his solo comeback with the album MUSE, and his agency has hinted that the artist will share different types of content during the album promotions. According to My Daily, a South Korean media agency, before his enlistment, Jimin reportedly filmed various types of content in advance for the fans to enjoy while he was away.
The agency hinted that the pre-enlistment filmed contents are scheduled to be released sequentially before the album release. On Monday, June 17, the agency announced the details regarding Jimin's upcoming album through Weverse.
According to Weverse, BigHit Music described MUSE as creating much excitement among Jimin's fans and music listeners.
“Following his first solo album, “FACE,” where he sought to explore his true identity, “MUSE” documents his journey in search of the source of his inspiration," they stated.

On June 17, BTS started their broadcast channel on Instagram, sharing an intriguing teaser film reel featuring the Set Me Free Pt. 2 singer. The teaser showcased Jimin walking into a dimmed locker room, and as soon as he reached the locker, the lights were on, revealing the purple-colored lockers.
The Like Crazy singer opened the locker and found a sheet of music with the song La Lettra. MUSE will mark his second album following the release of his solo debut album FACE on March 24, 2023.
The anticipation for MUSE’s release is at an all-time high, as the title track Like Crazy from the previous album reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, while the album reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
The new music will explain how the Filter singer's musical spectrum has expanded with this album, MUSE. Moreover, it will have seven songs, including the song Closer Than This, released as a gift to the fans, which was released on music platforms on December 22, 2024.
The pre-order period for the forthcoming album began on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 11 a.m. (KST). The agency will drop the album on major music platforms on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 1 p.m. (KST), one year and four months after his first album release.
BTS’ Jimin's letter to fans on 2024 FESTA
On June 13, the management company of BTS unveiled the letters written by the group members for the fans as they celebrated their 11th anniversary. Jimin's letter was also shared at the 2024 FESTA event, where he spoke about his wishes to meet his fans following his military discharge. He also asked fans about their daily lives while wishing them happiness.
“Are our ARMYs doing well? Are you eating well? Are you at least doing some exercise? Well, obviously not, right? Hahahaha (But you really should). I hope nothing too bad has happened. If something did, I hope it wasn't too tough. You should be happy, our ARMY. I want to make you even happier," he wrote.
He requested fans wait for him while enjoying their time with Jin, as he was recently discharged from the military on June 12. The Serendipity singer is expected to reunite as a group with his fellow BTS members in 2025.
