BLACKPINK's Jennie announced her first studio album RUBY on January 22, 2025. The album is slated to be released on March 7, 2025, under Odd Atalier/Columbia Records.
The announcement also included a video teaser in which Jennie wore a short black dress, a pair of sheer net stockings, and sporting bright red hair. Her nails are painted with the words 'RUBY.' As the video concludes, there is a rhapsody of more visuals of the Mantra hitmaker in different outfits.

RUBY will contain 15 tracks and Childish Gambino, Dominic Fike, Doeechi, Dua Lipa, FKJ, along with Kali Uchis will be seen as feature artists on the digital version of the album. There will also be a 'Jennie Only Audio' version with just Jennie. The pre-orders have begun on an exclusive website for the album.
The physical album comes in four versions - a Photobook (Jane and Zen version), a Store Exclusive Jewel Case CD, a Store Exclusive Cassette, and a Digipack CD - and will include an assortment like photocard, mini posters, sticker pack, carousel card, ticket & envelope, depending on the version you choose. The prices range from £11.99 to £48.99.
Official merch for the album includes a hoodie, a sweatshirt, a T-shirt, and a photobook (Jane and Zen versions). The prices range from £35 to £70. The merch is also bundled with the CD, and it includes an exclusive signed art card. These bundles ranging from £24.99 to £93.99 are already sold out on the website.
There were signed CD box sets available for fans as well, but those were also immediately sold out, despite the high prices. At the time of this writing, there has been no announcement on the last date to order the albums.
So far, Jennie is the third of the four BLACKPINK members to finally have a solo studio album to her name. In December, Rose unveiled her album rosie, and LISA also announced plans for her album Alter Ego to be released in February this year. Jisoo also dropped a video teaser for something new slated for Valentine's Day.
In other news, Jennie will be making her solo Coachella debut in April this year.
