On June 18, 2024, BLACKPINK Lisa's agency LLOUD confirmed the rapper's much-anticipated comeback with a teaser for her upcoming music, ROCKSTAR. The entertainment artist management company shared that she would be making her comeback on June 28, 2024, at 9 am KST, and June 27, 2024, at 8 pm ET.

LLOUD shared the announcement update through their social media handles on Instagram and X, respectively.

Recently, BLACKPINK member teased fans with her upcoming music through her social media account on TikTok, where she shared a clip of herself grooving to the unreleased beats of music on June 6, 2024. The sound used in her TikTok post, including the words 'Coming Soon,' raised the anticipation among the fandom.

Subsequently, the rapper shared a second snippet on TikTok, teasing fans with her upcoming project. In the clip, she was singing 'Baby, I'm a rock star' and was shared on June 13, 2024.


BLACKPINK's Lisa set to make her solo comeback after two years

The BLACKPINK member would make her much-awaited solo comeback after two years. She debuted as a soloist by releasing a single album titled Lalisa on September 10, 2021.

It was released through Interscope Records and YG Entertainment. The single album was a hip-hop record and exclusively produced by 24, Teddy, R.Tee, and others. It featured two tracks, including Lalisa and Money.

In the latest teaser shared by BLACKPINK member's agency, the clip featured a black graphic palette cover with the name of the track and the release dates engraved over it.

The clip also featured unreleased instrumental music of the rapper's upcoming music, ROCKSTAR. Soon, the news about Lisa's comeback with her latest music, ROCKSTAR, went viral on social media, and fandom could not contain their excitement.

They took to the internet, sharing multiple snippets celebrating the rapper's upcoming comeback and music. They started trending terms, including 'LISAxROCKSTAR,' 'LISAISCOMING,' and others.

The fandom stated they were ready for the BLACKPINK member's new era and set the goals for streaming her music on different audio listening platforms.

The rapper will have complete ownership of her upcoming music, ROCKSTAR, as she has recently signed an exclusive contract with RCA Records Label. According to the deal, in partnership with her entertainment agency Lloud, she would be allowed to keep ownership rights to all her music recordings.


In recent news, the idol was allegedly spotted grooving to BLACKPINK's How You Like That at The White Lotus 3 cast party in multiple videos circulating on social media. It was held at Koh Samui Island in Thailand last week, where the production of the upcoming black comedy series started in early February 2024.

The idol was confirmed to make her acting debut with The White Lotus 3, which is slated to premiere in 2025.
