BLACKPINK's Jennie reported to attend ADIDAS GROUND PARIS opening party as brand ambassador alongside Jenna Ortega, Ariana Grande & more

On Friday, July 26, it was confirmed that BLACKPINK's Jennie, as the brand's ambassador, will attend the opening party of ADIDAS GROUND PARIS. The event is to take place in Paris, France, and the idol will be one among the several attendees of the show, including both the brand's ambassadors and special invites.

Some of the other attendees include Jenna Ortega, Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, model and actor Jung Ho-yeon, LeBron James, and Rosalìa. Adidas Ground Paris is an exclusive event that is said to bring together some of the most influential personalities in show business and sports. Therefore, fans are both excited and happy to see BLACKPINK's Jennie attendance.

Jennie and Adidas' relationship kick-started in 2020 when the BLACKPINK members collaborated with the Three Stripes brand for the Change in a Sports Team campaign. From there, the idol not only adorned the brand often but also attended several of their projects and campaigns.

In 2023, she attended the brand's capsule collection called “Home of Classics" along with her fellow BLACKPINK members. Most recently, she became the face of Adidas' latest collection in June 2024, for the CLOT X Gazelle release. This marked her first solo appearance for Adidas Originals. With the idol moving further in her Adidas collaboration, fans are thrilled to see what the future holds.

Jennie or Jennie Kim is a South Korean rapper and singer who debuted under YG Entertainment with her fellow BLACKPINK members in 2016. While the idol has established herself as both a BLACKPINK and a solo singer, she has also been active in other areas outside the music industry.

One of these brand establishments includes her relationship with Adidas. While she's been in and out of projects with the Three Stripes brand, her most recent project took her partnership with the brand to the next level. She represented their recent shoe launch, the Clot Gazelle sneaker by Edison Chen.

The idol expressed that working with Adidas was not only surreal, but the brand also well-represented her fashion aesthetics,

“Working with the team on set for the shoot was a huge honor, and everything came together naturally. I love the design of the new white Gazelle. It’s super sleek yet classic, which is what I go for in my own personal style. Having worked with Adidas Originals many times before, the chance to front a campaign was surreal.”

Jennie recently made her fashion runway debut during the Jacquesmus "La Casa" show in Capri, Italy, on June 10. She also attended the CHANEL Coco Crush pop-up in Seoul, at the beginning of July, representing the luxury brand as its ambassador.


With the idol scheduled to attend the ADIDAS GROUND PARIS, fans are excited to see the content that will land on the internet. The opening party of ADIDAS GROUND PARIS is a commemoration event to kick-start a series of programs revolving around sports such as basketball, skating, street football, etc.
