- Best Choreography - Rockstar
- Best Art Direction - Rockstar
The fandom can cast their votes for BLACKPINK's Lisa through the official MTV VMA Awards websites. However, only the nomination under the Best K-pop category is open for voting. The remaining three categories - Best Editing, Best Choreography, and Best Art Direction, are not based on votes.

After the success of Rockstar and being nominated in four categories of the 2024 MTV VMA Awards, BLACKPINK's Lisa announced the release of her new single, New Woman (feat. Rosalia). The upcoming release was posted on her official Instagram account, @lalalalisa_m.
The female rapper also unveiled a teaser poster for her upcoming music, where the two artists are seated next to each other. Lisa donned a two-piece outfit, wearing a deep-green top styled with a white jacket and mini-skirt.
The BLACKPINK member complemented her appearance with sunglasses and a few accessories, including rings, necklaces, and soft glam makeup. Meanwhile, Rosalia opted for a bold look, where she donned a pink woolen outfit styled with sunglasses and a heavy makeup look. The duo radiated the vibes of bossy, strong women, synchronizing with the title of the upcoming single.

BLACKPINK's Lisa debuted as a soloist after three years by releasing a new single, Rockstar, on June 27, 2024, through LLOUD. The track marked her first release under the joint partnership between Lloud and RCA Records. It debuted at the No.4 and No.1 on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US.
Rockstar also secured its position on the United States Billboard Hot 100 by bagging the No.70 position, marking the rapper's highest-charting track and third entry after Money and Lalisa.
