BLACKPINK's Lisa has set a new Guinness World Record becoming the fastest TikTok account to achieve 1 million followers. According to Billboard's report, on June 6 Lisa shared a clip, teasing her upcoming solo comeback music release on the recently launched page on TikTok surpassing one million followers within 2 hours and 18 minutes.
This is Lisa's 9th Guinness World Record, extending her record as the only K-pop solo artist with maximum achievements recognized by the Guinness World Record.

The Thai member of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, Lisa, has showcased her popularity on social media with her recently launched TikTok page. Before launching her account on the platform, the singer had already surpassed 100 Billion views on a hashtag as the first female artist to reach this feat.
The BLACKPINK member currently has over 9.5 million followers on TikTok. The singer has over 103 million followers on Instagram as the first K-pop artist to do so. On June 18, Lisa confirmed the title of her upcoming solo single Rockstar with the snippet of the song accompanied by bold graphics on her official Instagram and X page. She has also confirmed the release date with the story, which is Thursday, June 27, at 8 p.m. ET.
The BLACKPINK member has been in the spotlight for an upcoming solo single since the launch of her TikTok page, where she first teased fans and followers with a snippet of her song.
Anticipation for her upcoming song is at an all-time high among fans since this would mark her first song since the release of LALISA in November 2021. In December 2023, Lisa launched her solo label LLOUD to explore her solo activities, including solo music releases.
