On November 5, 2024, X account chart data confirmed that BLACKPINK's Rosé created a new milestone where she recorded the highest monthly listeners of all time on Spotify. She emerged as the first female K-pop soloist with over 41.4 million listeners in the history of streaming platforms.

For those unversed, the female artist's latest achievement has been credited to her latest release. She dropped her hit collaborative track APT. with the American singer Bruno Mars on October 18, 2024. It was released through the Atlantic Records and The Black Label. The single marked BLACKPINK's Rosé's first release as a K-pop soloist in the last three years.

BLACKPINK's Rosé emerged as the first K-pop act to spend multiple days at No.1 on the Apple Music Global Chart with her latest track, APT. The female artist's song charted for the consecutive thirteen days.

By the morning of November 6, 2024, the track received an All-Kill on the Korean Charts. It reached the No.1 position on iChart, Bugs, MelOn, Genie, FLO, VIBE, and others. APT.'s music video surpassed over 400 million plays on YouTube Music within eighteen days of its release. It also recorded 270 million views on YouTube and emerged as the fastest MV of 2024 to achieve the milestone.

The track also ranked thirteenth on the Billboard Hot 100 list during its second week. It recorded over 1,321,558 streams and ranked No.11 on the Spotify US chart as of November 6, 2024. It was placed in second place on Global Spotify, with over 10,001,048 streams.

Additionally, APT. ranked at the No.1 position for two consecutive weeks on Billboard Global 100 and Billboard Global Excl. US. It emerged as the first track by a female K-pop soloist to spend multiple weeks at the No.1 position simultaneously on both charts.

In recent news, BLACKPINK's Rosé has signed an exclusive management contract with The Black Label on June 18, 2024. Subsequently, she confirmed a solo artist deal with Atlantic Records on September 28, 2024. The female artist also recorded a cover of Coldplay's 2008 track Viva la Vida for the main trailer and finale of Apple TV's Pachinko season 2.


BLACKPINK's Rosé has announced through her official Instagram account that she will release her debut studio album, Rosie, on December 6, 2024. It would be unveiled through The Black Label and Atlantic Records. The record would mark her first solo release since her departure from YG Entertainment and Interscope Records in 2023. Additionally, APT. has been assigned as the lead single for the forthcoming record.
