BLACKPINK's Rosé confirmed to perform at the GMO Sonic 2025: How to get tickets and all you need to know 

On Friday, December 20, the large scale music festival, GMO Sonic 2025, revealed that BLACKPINK's Rosé will be appearing as the special guest at the event. The two-day music event is planned for January 25 and 26, 2025, at Saitama Super Arena, Japan.

BLACKPINK's Rosé will be giving a short live performance at the GMO Sonic 2025 on the second day of the festival. The GMO Sonic website officially confirmed the live performance of Rosé, which would take place on January 26.

“ROSE, who is mesmerizing the world with her massively popular hits, will present a special short live performance this winter for GMO SONIC!” GMO Sonic’s website stated.

BLACKPINK's Rosé fans and other K-pop lovers can enjoy the event by securing their tickets to the music festival on the event's website, sonic.gmo/tickets/. There are three different types of tickets, Platinum Standing, General, and U19. Here are the details about each ticket:

1) PLATINUM STANDING

• ¥25,000 for one day
• ¥47,000 for two days

Customers who purchase PLATINUM tickets may also enter the GA area. It should be noted that attendees under the age of 20 on the day of the event are ineligible to purchase.

Privileges of this ticket:

• Exclusive laminated PASS specially made.
• Exclusive Viewing Area in front of the stage.
• Exclusive Lounge：Details about operation hours and areas will be released later.
• Exclusive fast lane for merchandise casher.
• Exclusive cloakroom that can be used free of charge.
• Welcome drink after exchanging platinum wristband.

2) GA (General / All-standing)

• ¥14,000 for one day
• ¥26,000 for two days

Advanced reservation is needed for GA one-day pass. Exclusive viewing area is available with this ticket. Note that those under 20 years old on the day of the event are not eligible to purchase.

3) U19 (Junior high school students and above, under 20 years old)

• ¥10,000 for one day
• ¥18,000 for two days

U19 ticket holders cannot enter the arena area. Note that there are also some stand areas with restricted access.

Note that this ticket can be used if an individual is under 20 years old on the day of the event.

BLACKPINK's Rosé’s name was revealed under the sixth artist announcement on December 20, 2025. In recent weeks, GMO Sonic has unveiled many other names that will perform at the two-day music festival.

The lineup for the first day, January 25, includes:

• DJ REXY=DEXY
• Skrillex
• ANYMA
• HAMDI
• m-flo
• Peggy Gou

The second day, January 26, of the music festival will present live performances from:

• Martin Garrix
• Metro Boomin
• Takumi Kawanishi, Junki Kono & Sho Yonashiro from JO1
• NOA
• R3HAB
• BLACKPINK’s Rosé

To elevate the excitement of GMO Sonic 2025, the event also announced a design competition to discover and showcase the talents of creators everywhere. GMO Sonic mentioned two themes on its website, anyone of which can be used by participants to create their designs. The two themes are:

• “Japanese Culture and Music: A Message to the Future”
• “Crossing Over Old and New Designs”

There will be no bars of gender, age, and experience for this creative competition.
