On December 16, 2024, the South Korean K-pop group BOY NEXT DOOR officially announced through the official X account that they are set to make their comeback with their first digital single, I Love You Today Only. The band revealed that the forthcoming track was scheduled for release on January 6, 2025, at 6 pm Korean Standard Time.

The announcement was accompanied by a poster showcasing an animated figure donning a blue jacket paired with a white shirt and denim jeans. He is seen performing multiple activities, including enjoying bathtub time, sitting idle, playing guitar, blowing water bubbles in front of a table fan, lying among clothes, and others.


BOY NEXT DOOR unveiled their third extended play, 19.99

On September 9, 2024, BOY NEXT DOOR unveiled their third extended play, 19.99, through KOZ Entertainment. The record conveyed the message of different types of anxieties felt by youth before they turn twenty. It featured seven tracks, including Dangerous, Gonna Be a Rock, Skit, Nice Guy, 20, Call Me, and Nice Guy (English Version). According to KOZ Entertainment, 19.99 surpassed one million copies in sales as per YG Plus statistics.

Before the release of 19.99, the band unveiled their second extended play, How? on April 15, 2024. It was released through KOZ Entertainment. The record was the final trilogy of their preceding works, including Who! (2023) and Why..(2023). It featured seven tracks: Our, Amnesia, So Let's Go See the Stars, Earth, Wind & Fire, Life is Cool, Dear. My Darling, and Earth, Wind & Fire (English Version).

For those unversed, BOY NEXT DOOR officially debuted on May 30, 2023, with the single album Who!. It featured three tracks: But I Like You, One and Only, and Serenade. It features six members, including Riwoo, Sungho, Jaehyun, Leehan, Woonhak, and Taesan.

Subsequently, the band made their debut in Japan with the maxi single And. It achieved commercial success. The single charted at the Daily Single Ranking Oricon Chart. BOY NEXT DOOR was showcased in a K-pop exhibit at the Grammy Museum, Los Angeles, California, with 78 artists from HYBE Corporation. It was held between August 2 and September 15, 2024.

The group held their first fan meeting, OneDoorful Day. It occurred at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea, from June 1 to 2, 2024. They unveiled the promotional single titled Lucky Charm on June 29, 2024. It was part of the original soundtrack for the JTBC show Miss Night and Day. The group had an impressive discography list, including Why.., How?, Who!, Earth, Wind & Fire, and others.
