On December 23, BLACKPINK's Rosé emerged as the first woman to be placed at #1 on Korea Sisa Journal's “Entertainment Figure of the Year.” Earlier, this title was held by BTS (2019-2022) and Lim Young-woon (2023).

Fans of BLACKPINK's Rosé were elated by her newest feat. They inundated the internet with appreciation and love for her success. A user on X remarked:

“This little and humble girl, driven by pure passion and talent, has made history. She now forever holds the title of the 1st woman ever to rank as the #1 Ent Figure of the Year in this journal, breaking a long streak of male dominance for years. I'm truly touched now”

While some asserted that the female idol deserved this distinction, others labeled her as the "queen of K-pop."

“Rose is good and deserves to be picked for entertaining figure of the year,” commented another fan.

Many praised BLACKPINK's Rosé for being the first woman to earn the title from Sisa Journal, while others called her “genius.”

BLACKPINK's Rosé crossed mark of 65 million monthly listeners on Spotify

With the arrival of her first album as a solo artist, rosie, BLACKPINK's Rosé celebrated many firsts. On December 21, BLACKPINK's Rosé achieved a significant record by surpassing 65 million (65,178,452) monthly listeners on Spotify. She was the first K-pop artist to achieve this milestone.

The female star was succeeded by BTS and Jungkook in second and third positions, respectively. The former had 45.8 million listeners, while the latter recorded 40.7 million monthly streams.

Another achievement is achieving the status of the most subscribed female K-pop singer on YouTube. She subsequently became the most followed K-pop singer on TikTok.

BLACKPINK's Rosé launched her debut solo album, rosie, on December 6, 2024. The record was released by Atlantic Records in collaboration with the idol's agency, THEBLACKLABEL.

Her self-produced album consists of 12 tracks. The songs of rosie are 3am, toxic till the end, Drinks or Coffee, Stay a Little Longer, Two Years, Not the Same, Call It the End, Too Bad for Us, Dance All Night, Gameboy, Number One Girl, and APT.
