On October 25, 2024, BLACKPINK's Rosé and Bruno Mars’ track APT hit #1 on New Zealand's Official Top 40 Singles Chart. This made Rosé the first K-Pop soloist to top the chart since PSY’s Gangnam Style in 2012. Released on October 18, APT quickly climbed the charts, sparking excitement among fans who flooded the internet with praise for Rosé's achievement.

Expressing this sentiment, one user on X commented:

Some fans highlighted BLACKPINK's Rosé’s global impact, while others were happy with her achievement in her home country. For those unaware, the female idol, born in 1997, hails from Auckland, New Zealand.

BLACKPINK's Rosé’s APT became the fastest MV to cross 100 million views on YouTube

On October 23, Soompi reported that Rosé and Bruno MarsAPT surpassed 100 million views on YouTube merely five days and three hours post-release. APT is a pre-release track from the former’s forthcoming solo album Rosie. The K-pop idol’s debut solo album is scheduled to launch on December 6, 2024.

The duo’s track also became the fastest music video to reach 100 million views in 2024. As of this writing, the song has fetched over 150 million views on YouTube with over 6.2 million likes.

On October 23, BLACKPINK's Rosé set new records with her latest single, according to the World Music Awards. The duo’s song APT became the fastest K-pop MV and 2024 collaboration to reach 100 million YouTube views, achieving 25.24 million views in 24 hours—the biggest Korean soloist debut of 2024 on the platform.
