On August 26, 2024, Bangtan Sonyeondan aka BTS became the first and only act in history to have 33 songs climb #1 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart. Forbes reported that the band's song We are Bulletproof : The Eternal charted No. 1 on the chart, replacing BTS' Suga's solo track Polar Night on August 26.

Reportedly, the tally includes the solo tracks of the BTS members as well, such as Jimin's WHO, Suga's Polar Night, Haeguem, etc., Namjoon's Come back to me, Taehyung's FRI(END)S, and more.

On August 23, Suga's solo track Polar Night from his debut solo album D-DAY peaked at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart. It maintained its position for two consecutive days before getting toppled by BTS' song. Additionally, as of August 26, a total of 23 songs by Suga re-entered the chart, making him the most consumed musician worldwide on all digital platforms.

BTS' Suga is the most consumed Asian Act on all digital platforms and holds the top spots in the Worldwide & European iTunes Song charts

BTS' Min Yoongi aka Suga is the most consumed Asian act globally on all digital platforms. The musician made history with 23 songs re-entering both the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and the European iTunes Song Chart.

World Music Awards reported that Suga became the first and only Asian solo act to chart three of his albums on the Top 5 of the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart. His albums, D-DAY, AGUST D, and D-2 took the No, 2, 3, and 4, respectively on the chart.

In other news, apart from Jin, all six band members are currently serving in the South Korean military. As per the country's law, every able-bodied male citizen between 18 to 30 is required to serve a mandatory enlistment period of 18 to 21 months in the military (Army, Air Force, Marines).
