BTS, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Stray Kids, and other K-Pop artists submit their music for 2025 Grammy Awards nominations

K-pop artists, including BTS members Jungkook, V, BLACKPINK's Lisa, Stray Kids, and others, have submitted their music for 2025 Grammy Awards nominations. On October 4, The Grammy Guru shared an exclusive list of artists who have submitted their songs and albums for nominations, which includes popular K-pop artists alongside global stars such as SZA, Doja Cat, Post Malone, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, and more.

Five BTS members, RM, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, TWICE, and Stray Kids, who released music between September 16, 2023, and August 30, 2024, have reportedly submitted their songs to the Recording Academy. Notably, the 2025 Grammy Award nominations will be officially unveiled on November 8, 2024.

More about K-pop artists who submitted music for 2025 Grammy Awards nominations

BTS members actively dropped their solo music before getting enlisted in the military. J-hope was the second member to begin his service in April 2023. In March 2024, he released his docu-series HOPE ON THE STREET on Prime Video, alongside an original soundtrack album, HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1. He has submitted the OST album for the upcoming Grammy nominations.

RM and V began their military service on December 11, 2023, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on December 12, 2023. Prior to enlisting, Jungkook released his album GOLDEN in November 2023 and has submitted it for the Grammy Awards.

Meanwhile, RM and Jimin submitted their second solo albums, Right Place, Wrong Person and MUSE, respectively, for the Album of the Year category of the Grammy Awards nominations. V has submitted his solo single FRI(END)S for the Record of the Year category.

JYP Entertainment groups like Stray Kids and TWICE have also submitted their albums ATE and With YOU-th for Album of the Year and Pop Vocal Album category nominations. BLACKPINK's Lisa, who made her solo comeback after three years, has also submitted her songs New Woman and ROCKSTAR for Grammy Awards nominations.
