All you need to know about BTS Jimin's Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (ft. Loco) and his latest second solo album, MUSE

On July 19, BTS' Jimin released his second solo studio album, MUSE, which has a total of 7 songs and the track, WHO, as its lead. However, prior to the album's release, the idol rolled out a pre-release track from the album called Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (ft. Loco).

The song and its music video were released on June 28 and it revolves around the concept of confession and stands as an ode to BTS' debut. The lyrics talk about when the BTS members first performed in front of ARMYs and kickstarted their careers as a K-pop boy group.

Additionally, it also talks about the theme of confession and the desperation to convey one's love through the metaphor of the flower, Smeraldo. Smeraldo is a recurring image in BTS' music concepts. It was used in Bangtan Universe, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, and The Truth Untold.

Here's what the fictional flower intends to convey, as per the description released by BIGHIT Music:

"The theme of the lyrics is 'confession.' Jimin drew inspiration from the fictional flower 'Smeraldo,' which symbolizes 'a sincere heart that couldn't be conveyed,' to complete sweet lyrics that confess love on behalf of those who cannot express their feelings. The sweet lyrics are a confession on behalf of those who cannot express their feelings, helping them find love."

The album, MUSE, on the other hand, started making impressive achievements within just a few hours after its release. Not only did the album's title track, WHO, top the global iTunes music chart, but all songs of the album were named the Top 7 Bestselling Songs on Amazon US Music under 4 categories.

Additionally, the idol will receive the Melon Hall of Fame "Millions Album" plaque from the Korean music streaming platform, Melon. The album, FACE has surpassed 2 million streams on the platform.
