On July 19, 2024, BTS Jimin became the first K-pop idol to have multiple albums reach the No.1 position on the United States iTunes Top Albums music charts. The idol achieved the latest milestone after his second solo album, Muse, hit the No.1 position on the US iTunes charts. Jimin's first solo album, FACE, reached the No.1 position on the US iTunes Album Chart on January 14, 2024.

Jimin released Muse, on July 19, 2024, accompanied by a music video for the record's title track, WHO. He dropped FACE, on March 24, 2024, with the title track Like Crazy.

Muse achieved the biggest debut by a Korean or K-pop act on the Spotify Global Chart in 2024. It recorded cumulatively 22,746,705 filtered streams on the audio streaming platform.

The album's title track, WHO, has also earned the biggest debut for a solo song by a Korean soloist in the history of Spotify's Global Chart. The title track recorded 7,901,507 filtered streams and earned the biggest debut for a song in 2024.

Meanwhile, WHO has also achieved the No.1 position on the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 112 countries with the addition of Jordan as of July 20, 2024. The track has also achieved an All-Kill in the eight biggest music markets on iTunes charts, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, and Japan.

WHO also broke the record for the biggest debut by a Korean soloist on Spotify's United States Daily Chart in 2024. The song recorded 964,532 streams and ranked at the position of 18 on the music charts. WHO continued to dominate on the domestic charts as well. It recorded No.9 and No.92 positions on Bugs and Genie, respectively.

Meanwhile, BTS Jimin also penned a letter for the fans, which was available in the physical album set of Muse (Blooming Version). The letter circulated on social media after a fan shared the unboxing video of the record through their YouTube channel, interAsia.

In the letter, the idol confessed Muse would be his last album before he enlisted for his mandatory military service. He stated that the course of preparation was difficult and expressed his gratitude to everyone in the company, including the directors and staff who helped him with extra care. The idol mentioned, as translated by X user @JiminGlobal,

"I am truly grateful to work with amazing people, and I think there's nothing happier than continuing to work with such amazing people after I come back. I'll be back soon, so please wait! And to ARMYs who always show interest and support. This album...contains a lot of emotions I've been going through a lot of these days, and I want to feel these many emotions I've experienced with you again."

BTS member further elaborated,

"I'm sure there are many who think this way. I made this with a lot of thought, I want you to be happy every day. I hope you can put your regrets behind and we can come back quickly and have more happy and fun things. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always caring for me and loving me."

BTS Jimin concluded his letter, citing that he would respond to the ARMY's love and care with better albums, songs, and performances. The singer expressed his gratitude and stated he loved them with all his might. He confessed he was always grateful and the love he received from BTS members and loved the conversations he had with the members and the influence they had on him. The idol stated he would love to see members and ARMYs soon.


BTS Jimin will appear in the upcoming travel variety show Are You Sure?!, alongside Jungkook. The program will air on August 8, 2024, through Disney+ and run till September 19, 2024.

The artist will also perform WHO in the upcoming episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on July 22, 2024.
