In 2024, BTS member Jimin reached unprecedented heights as a solo artist, becoming the first Korean soloist to surpass $1.80 million in revenue on the HITS US year-end charts. This achievement placed him alongside BTS as the only two K-pop acts to attain such a milestone.
According to the latest report by the official website of HITS Double Daily, Jimin generated $119,198 in revenue within five months, from July to December 2024, by selling over 131,000 CD copies of the album title track, WHO. The set was released on July 19, 2024, marking the Grammy-nominated musician's second solo album.

In other news, BTS' Jimin enlisted in the South Korean military, the Republic of Korea Army, in December 2023 to fulfill his mandatory service of 18 months. He is set to be discharged in June 2025 and resume music activities.
