On September 5, 2024, BTS' Jimin clinched another milestone as he became the first and only Korean solo artist to have multiple albums surpass 1 billion streams apiece. His two solo records, FACE (2023) and MUSE (2024), crossed 1 billion cumulative streams (all tracks) each on Spotify.

FACE was released on March 24, 2023, and its title track surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify last year. Meanwhile, he dropped his second solo set, MUSE, with seven songs on July 19, 2024. All MUSE tracks surpassed over 1 billion streams, making him the only artist to achieve an iconic feat.

FACE achieved this feat in 153 days, while MUSE hit the 1 billion cumulative mark within 48 days of its release. It is important to note that FACE's title track, Like Crazy, surpassed 1 billion streams alone in 2023. FACE currently has over 2.48 billion streams.

He became the first K-pop solo artist to claim this feat in the entire history of the American music chart. It was also his first Billboard Hot 100 win as a songwriter.
